Explanation for Couri's confusion at 9:13 - Lava pools, water pools trees, etc are not structures. Therefore, in a seed they can have multiple locations that they are able to be generated in. In this case your first world load with this seed might have scanned the world and found one of the other locations the lava pool can generate, leading it to only pick that spot rather than the other spot it generated. Hopefully, this answered your question.

The reason for the glitch of lava pool disappearing, is because Minecraft terrains generate with a certain return function and sometimes the return feature bugs and returns that that structure should be there when it should not. Usually it does not bug which is why it did not generate the lava pool

The reason the lava pool didn't generate in the right place is because in Minecraft things have different chances of spawning in different places like a water pool can spawn where the lava was suppose to be and i think its random what structure it can be turned into. Hope this made sense p.s Congrats on the pb :)

For an explanation at 8:20, that is actually the armorer. Technically, there isn't a such thing as a blacksmith, it's really a weaponsmith, and the toolsmith is another iron source building (only contains chests in deserts and taigas) that always included a smithing table.

Some structures generate at different times based on lag (and the order that chunks load) and how the world loading happened that one time; for example, if a ruined portal and village house have the same location, its possible that sometimes the ruined portal will delete the house, and sometimes the house will delete the portal. I think something similar might've happened to the lava pool? Lag and the order that chunks load or other random factors changed the generation order?
