After seeing the amount of empty chests I'd say decoration mod for sure. Danks will let you loot faster and fill those chests up quicker, making drawers more needed then.

Agreed, danks is both good for early game and late game. Drawers are good late game since you don't need to store thousands of 1 item. It sounds like good storage for farm because you get less variety from farms compared to dungeons

He knows, it's happened multiple times on the SMP with other players. Sparklez did it in season 1, Pete did it in season 2. The problem is NBT data overload, not file size. Pete had the problem due to him putting way too much vault gear with unique data into one of his storage drives. Of course, the same thing happens with danks going into backpacks with a bunch of different items inside of them.

Just a suggestion, I think it'd be really cool if obelisks when activated give you a little bit of additional time (30,20 secs) and it would also give them a use in no boss vault runs.

I don’t think this is a good idea as later on this would be very overpowered. With bigger vaults you get more obelisks and the extra time would be quite overpowered. Killing bosses is not that hard, even early game. I am sure iskall could kill the boss easily if he tried to do so he just doesn’t for some reason. And later on there are no „no boss vault runs“, you either find all the obelisks and kill the boss or bail because of time, or in the early game because you are still too weak to kill the boss. There are also already many ways of increasing vault time with relics, modifiers and fruit.

I've been playing VaultHunters myself and LOVE it. Wondering if you'd consider adding another vault crystal for a "public" vault. Kinda like coop, but if one person dies, their body drops their items and you can PVP and contest for loot. Maybe a cooldown that they have to join a vault in 2-3 minutes before it starts, could make multiplayer servers crazy and fun.

I believe you should take a decoration mod because you already have enough shards for a knowledge star but need the diamonds and larimar gems. You can also have better lights for your mega base of doom. And danks just makes everything easier. I'm addicted to this series lol, keep up the good work.

It's a known way of never getting lost in the vault, and in earlier versions was possible. Iskall and the dev team decided it was too cheesy, and have locked the map size.

IIRC the RFTools storage doesn't require power! At least, not until you get to remote storage, even the handheld doesn't *need* power. The name in this case is very misleading I don't know if the modpack gates the way to craft it or if it's been changed in the last year or so since i last used it, but you'd have an option halfway between digital storage and drawers, complete with a handheld storage item that should be able to hold hundreds of stacks of items, allowing you to have a storage box you don't have to place down that's bigger than some of your existing boxes. Not quite Dank Storage but certainly a budget option with smaller maximum size but more versatility. And once you do have power, (RFTools should have an option for power even if it isn't the best one available, so you could technically do it anyway if you want to) you'd be able to dump all of your items into your handheld storage and pull the items out of the block it's connected to, either to expand your storage even further or just treat it like an enderchest that never gets filled. This is putting aside the fact that RFTools has some other cool tools so there should be a good bit to play with. Personal favorites include the screens and the storage scanner. I'd have tested this before posting but I tried to open the pack while I had way too many chrome tabs open and the game decided not to, but I can't close chrome or else this message doesn't get commented and I'd rather give a tiny signal boost for a series that I'm enjoying.

My vote would be for something decorative that you'll actually be inspired with for the base, followed by Danks to help wutax / vault diamond collection. That would be the "adult" choice. That way you get to pre-plan a base idea, and you can get to storage even quicker in the future. It would also help prevent Greedskall since you would have less time sorting boxes and more time looting useful things like... more vault ores. Win-win! Then again, you could go storage drawers and start on mega-farms? I feel like with your other series you'd be burning the candle at both ends by doing that. Also you're going to want the other mods for automation, which means more runs, which means more emphasis on Dank. So yeah make your vault journey easier and save yourself the IRL hassle. You can always double-chest hopper the base stuff until you get the storage sorted out. Works for vanilla farms, which I expect you'll be doing soon enough on the other side. ;) P.S. if you read this far, Hallo!

If you get storage drawers then you can start to make mega farms that can hold over a millions items in one block usually emerald upgrades and to stop lag you could use void upgrades. It'll help you do more vault crystals over time to have all those resources in one place instead of constantly emptying it too. Also the compacting drawers would make stuff like gold farms nicer!

I would say get drawers right now or save another point and get danks instead of getting a decorator because it's important to save the amount of decorator mods you have and lower the other costs when it's more necessary, because you can't lower past 1 point.

From my extensive research I've found that about 400 million people have downloaded Minecraft and I'm pretty comfortable saying that more then 90 percent of those people have played it at least once. So in that case roughly around 360 million people have played Minecraft, and you would it would be hard to deny that they have all had to place at least 1 block. Now that block could be anything as long as it can be found, broken, or crafted in the players inventory. This means that the first block one can place cannot be any sort of a storage item, UNLESS they go all the way to a village, desert temple, forest temple, nether portal, end dungeon or a pillagers out post. even though the small chance that a new player would go to said place break a chest and place it as there first item is so slim I will give them the benefit of the doubt, I would say maybe less then 3 percent has done that. so roughly around 349.2 million people placed a non storage block as the first thing they place. And seems you are a Minecraft KZbin channel primarily, I feel safe saying that more then 50% of your viewer has played Minecraft. Lets chock it up to around 73% to be safe. so 1.1826 million of your viewers play Minecraft (roughly), meaning that most of your viewers that play Minecraft have placed a non storage block as there first item ever placed in Minecraft. My conclusion being that as a whole your viewer base will be more happy or more connected with a mod that is not a storage mod statistically. Derpskall???? Great episode and loving the series. Season one of Vault Hunters SMP helped get me through lockdown and although my laptop isn’t good enough to run it I’ve loved watching my brother play a single player world. To help him I’ve been mapping his vaults and I am amazed that you can do it in your head whilst actually running the vault. If you take two vault idols into the vault, do they both lose durability even if only one is in your offhand? Even so, the derp only showed how excited you were to run that vault. Also, go Danks. They be very dank… Much love. Keep up the OMEGA content! P.S. the dream team of etho and iskall and the shattered savanna was the best to watch, even if there were fewer videos. Can’t wait for Season 9!

I would say to pick furniture because of the -1 point but if you can take drawers to the vault to give more storage because that is kind of stressful when all of your chests are full. That is my opinion 🤗

He has addressed this in some of his streams. Due to the massive number of mods in it and the great difference in Bedrock to Java he is not sure VH would even function in the same way and it would be almost as big of an undertaking as making the mod pack in the first place. He likely does not see adding it to Bedrock based on stuff he has said in streams.

Great episode. Did you know the wooden boxes (that can be found! In villages) will store. In a shulker box.. When they are full of items! So it's a full chest. In a shulker box. In a double chest.. Mega storage! Need to get some storage mod.
