i like this update because it allow low level player to actually have a small decent stable income and have a good way of generating decent early game troops (thugs aren't good past the mid game but early game they get the job done) also the fact that you aren't paying whoever is in the backstreet is a huge deal when you are in the early game.

The troops the alley gives are actually accessible via talking to your companion (the one who runs it). Don't know why they did it like that, but that's the way it goes. Oh! And the troops are different based on the region your alley is in, that's a nice detail!

hey bruh so a few tips for this playthrough. brigandine is the best body armor you can wear in cities, athletics tree is extremely important specifically abilities that improve handling and runspeed, same with throwing weapons, also throwing daggers are very strong if you play like this. Ideally you get high athletics throwing roguery on your clanmembers, put them all in brigandiness and equip them all with throwing daggers, have them all fire at will and then make sure you save at least one dagger, change mode and you can land pretty much at will on swordwielding enemies.

I'll just be happy if they fix sword damage, as of the last patch it counts as blunt damage instead of cut damage. When you consider they still have lower damage than axes and maces and yet also have an armor% damage absorption modifier attached to the weapon type and just..... wow, swords are BAD. Like the same kind of bad as spears on foot bad. But hey, new content is new content and I'm super stoked that Roguery now isn't 100% useless.

best is to get big inough first and pledge to a kingdom the wepon thay give you is usually pritty good and you can use it in towns(personal favorite is batania 1 and 2 handed wepon and lookes like a sithe with a small hilt and feels like being the grim reaper you are 🤣)

This is because taleworlds wants their updates to be as least buggy as possible so when all bugs they can find are fixed (they will be fixing them while the update is in beta),it will be released to console. If you have a PC and an update comes out,if you go to properties and then click on betas,it will say the update is in a beta.
