Another chill day on another chill island. Woke up on a hilltop pagoda with an awesome view surrounded by tombstones. Drove down into the garlic fields and got a job for the day. I didn’t get paid though but they did offer me a bunch of Ly Son (Special) Garlic. Ask for directions to the beach and the guy pointed me to literally the most awesome location for a swim. There was a cave temple and fresh drink water dripping down from the mountain. I grabbed some wild spinach growing out in the bush for dinner and drove all the up an ancient volcano to camp for the night. It was a chill day…
I honestly had no idea about anything on this island, I just saw it on google maps and thought it’d be cool to go there. It’s how I like to travel. The journey is usually more fun than the destination, but this was a pretty good place to end up in.
