I work at TK Maxx (the australian/british TJ Maxx, same company) and theres this woman called Karen (real name) who buys like 15-20 Rae Dunn things at a time and makes us wrap every single thing in paper. Takes like half an hour to ring her up sometimes. She worked there for 1 day and realised its not all looking at Rae Dunn shit and she promptly quit on the second day. Tbh shes an icon.

As a former Marshalls employee, I've super annoyed with them for years. So I'm very excited for this video. For clarification, they are annoying because they literally wait at the doors for hours before we open and have been known to knock employees down to get to what they want.

I think the point. Of reselling is to buy pieces that are limited, Holiday, highly in demand pieces wait a little while and then sell them.Then you get the homebound people, the people that might not have a TJ Maxx or marshals remotely close who would buy this

Ya know, I do enjoy shopping at Cracker Barrel when I go. I found little desert cactus cups with phrases like looking sharp, can't touch this and feeling a little prickly. It makes me happy to use them. So, I can get why you enjoy this so much. I typically use my cactus mugs in the morning and I do take note of which phrase I picked up.

I think I am a rare thing. I kinda am a Rae Dunn man 🙈. Ok, gay, but that still counts 😝. But not really addicted. I love the mugs (and the stuff in general) for their quality and the non-basic, handmade shape they have and not the same old clear round shape that normal mugs have. I will move out soon and set myself the limit to 12 mugs. As a single, that literally can't hand wash dishes (it just disgusts me) and doesn't want to run the dishwasher every day that's a good amount and I know I will use all of them. I live in Germany so I have to pay the reseller prices. I might look at my local TK Maxx (same brand as TJ Maxx) to see if they have any but I doubt it. So I really carefully pick my motives as I have to pay high prices. The only other 4 things from Rae Dunn I have is a 3-pillow set (got that at the TJ Maxx Website or Homegoods and shipped it here which was not that expensive), a Laundry Basket (since you need a Laundry Basket, and I didn't have one so I thought why not. Also got that one Homegoods Website, so no resell prices here 👍🏻), 2 decorative plaques (one that says Hangry and one says Home Sweet Home, also from a Website I think it's called Sierra, they seem to have some Rae Dunn stuff too), and a Cookie canister (got that from eBay way to overpriced but just loved it so much). Loved your video btw. Didn't know you before, so Hi, nice to meet you 😊. PS: I might have to get that Car Sticker from the TikTok for the new car my mom and I just bought 😅🤣

I already have a crapton of mugs from here there and everywhere. I do have a tiny Disney mug collection, mostly from trips to Disneyland, so I get the impulse. I also love a chonky mug, though I think I will just enjoy Rae Dunn from afar. This was a fun video to watch. ❤️

I love Halloween, and a huge chunk of my Instagram explore page right now is photos from people Halloween hunting. At this point, I've seen so many Halloween mugs already that by the time I actually find one in store, an alarm is going to go off in my head that "AHA! You found it!" I don't get the Rae Dunn craze, but I'm so familiar with the Halloween stuff by now, I just know the familiarity is going to make me get something. Then I'll get home and go "A lime green iridescent TOXIC mug? Really?" 😂

My first Rae Dunn video was just like this...I was seriously trying to figure out the appeal and trying to figure out if they were really hard to find and surprisingly they were. I love the Halloween mugs. I want you to do another video when it’s fall and they’re out. I want to see if you can find them. Oh and see if you can find some measuring cups. They go for 200.00 on Mercari...It’s really fun..some of us do it for the hunt 😉 It’s better to find them yourself then to buy them online. Take care!

To be honest, I don’t know what you said about Batman & Robin (or haven’t) but it is a gay cult classic for a reason: it is a camp masterpiece! I said it, it is entertaining, the fight scenes are beautifully choreographed, the villains are essentially drag queens and it is hilarious. Intentional or otherwise. I always loved it. Rae Dunn appeal is the hunt and also our design aesthetic, e.g., farmhouse chic, industrial farmhouse, shabby chic. The S'more mug is expensive because it's hard to find, and has the words and the pictures. Good luck finding any Halloween. Is really hard, and that is why Halloween sells so well for the re-sellers.

i feel rae dunn fans are the same people who got insanely excited the first time they encountered a label maker and then proceeded to label everything in their house. they're the slightly neurotic organizers, the people who feel like their entires lives would be in control if only they could keep the mess in their house in order. they shop at stores like marshalls because they buy things to make them feel organized, like their home is pretty, and some of them fall into the trap, as many people do for all kinds of things, of believing that buying is the same as doing. they can't live, laugh, or love... but getting a sign that says it is *almost* the same thing. ;-)

We don't have Target, Marshall etc. in the UK, but I can think of several similar phenomenons. It reminds me of Jane Norman plastic carrier bags. Jane Norman, no clue if it's still around, but 10-15 years ago was the shit. It wasn't even the clothes, shoes or bags that were a hit, it was literally the carrier bag that was popular. Everyone would exclusively use Jane Norman carrier bags for EVERYTHING. And they weren't even high quality or like the reusable bags we get today, it was a disposable bag with boring black font that said Jane Norman, no design, no fancy font or colours. And yes, it really had a cult following too.

Lol your new content is kind of quirky. I saw the lid and was like wait, the honey pot has a lid?! It's interesting that the cups have lots. I like the cozy cup better than the hello fall cup, personally. I do like the morning pumpkin cup better than the hello fall one. I don't like the asthetic of the brand overall. I am not a typically fan of wearing clothes with cutesy phrases.

Is that SHINE mug Rae Dunn? It looks different than any I have. I only have about 12 mugs including different holidays and seasons. I use them all. I only get what I like. The cashier in my TJMAXX told me she sees women physically fight and have screaming matches over Rae Dunn. There is definitely a dark side of RD. There are plenty of videos on that too.
