I Became a Sydney Trains Guard for A Day!

Today I ticked off the biggest item on my bucket list, to guard a train. This wouldn’t have been possible without many incredible people, including Channel 9.

@State Rail Vlogs That would be a good choice and it used to be that you had to be a guard first before driving but I am not sure if that is still the case. Transport Minister is a great ambition.

@State Rail Vlogs During the Sydney Olympics they shortened the driver training to a matter of weeks instead of almost 2 years and there were many incidents of drivers running the red and overshooting platforms and even missing stations. Between trains and buses there were almost 600 individual accidents and incidents.

Awesome experience for your age, when you finish Y12, get straight into applying with Sydney Trains, I’d bet in no time you’ll be on the grind. I’m a trainee CSA, everything in Sydney Trains is going to be exciting! But great job not many people your age get to experience this in their life 👍

Mostly awesome, but at 0:34 the reason why the doors wouldn't close is because Central is busy station and passengers keep getting stuck in the doors why can't you just open them and try again Haiya (most likely reason)
