I find that players tend to go all-in on the weapon when you only need like 5 attack or something to make it worth. When I tried it, I had like 2 Deadly Poison, 2 Silverleaf, 1 Nitro and something to search the weapon. Extremely compact engine just to get things rolling. I'd imagine it's better now with the new stuff.

Dragon's Hoard also can't discover a legendary from the class you currently are. And since Demon Hunter has a paltry amount of legendaries, it was more like a 1/8 for each card. Or 1/8^3 for all 3 to be Rogue legendaries. Which is 1/512. Still incredibly rare but only half as rare as Twitch chat was implying it was.

You also have to eliminate the legendaries picked as it won't offer you the same thing 2-3 times, making the decimal smaller.

I think because of the birthday paradox you forget about the first one of the cards, the second and third just have to match whatever it is. So it's more like 1/8^2. (Another way of thinking about it is 1/8^3 for each individual class, but it could be any one of them, so then you have to add that to the chance for each other class, so 8x1/8^3 and you're back to 1/8^2.) 1 in 64 is about 1.5% so probably more likely than one would assume.

@@Anolaana The birthday paradox doesn't apply here. We're not looking for the chance that all of the cards will be the same class. We're looking specifically for the chance that all of the cards will be of the Rogue class. This is why Roffle was so disappointed. Because after Roffle is no longer disguised - he will be a Rogue. Which means that his card effects that activate due to having played, or having in hand 'a card of a different class' (such as Tess Greymane) will no longer apply to the legendary chosen from Dragon's Hoard.

It's 490 legendary minions in Wild, Rogue's got 35 of them, same for the Priest and 196 are neutral. The pool we are picking from is 490-196(Neutral)-35(Priest)=259 class legendaries and we are trying to get three of 35 Rogue legendaries, so the formula would be (35/259)*(34/258)*(33/257) which is approximately 0,23%. I guess there are also 2-class legendaries which can be counted twice somewhere there but they don't seem to make a big deal and the result is going to become like 0,25%.

did the math no one asked for. The chance of the all rouge legendaries roll is approximately 1/750. Don't know why it's so rouge weighted but that's the calc of all the rouge class legendaries divided by the number of total class legendaries. Come to think of it it's actually slighly more likely because no priest. But I'm not doing the math again so basically under 750 by like, one class worth.

It's actually a 1 in 10 TWO times in a row, not three times in a row. Because, the first legendary minion can be from any class, then the next two minions have a 1 in 10 probability each.
