Josh is a normal nice guy who loves to sketch and write. Ha has a girlfriend but later he finds that he doesn't have any feelings for him. suddenly this new feeling comes around and he is confused about this new feeling that he has for boys then he goes to college and meets his roommate who is hot and sexy. He finds him attractive. His name is Rowan and he is a kind and sweet type of guy who loves sports. He loves to swim. On their first day together they went to a party and kissed each other. And next morning Rowan remembers the kiss but he thinks that he is not gay because he dated a lot of women, so this feeling is new for him but as he spends his time with him he falls for him bit by bit. And he finally realises that he is in love. He doesn't say it for a month and thinks that he is into women. But then gets jealous of him just because he talks and laughs with a woman or anyone at that point
Josh breaks the news because he couldn't just stay like this and he is losing his mind over him. He has never felt that way and now he wants more and so in the end they both know what they feel about each other and their dates.
And also just like you suggested that we should make Josh's girlfriend confess that he is gay to his mom and so on…
