What's crazy is Anakin isn't even doing max damage combos, he is doing very mediocre ones. It just shows you how good his fundamentals are, and learning combos should be 2nd to having great fundamentals.

True! The difference between having a good combo and a max damage combo is just a matter of a few damage points usually. But if you miss punishes, don’t duck strings or pressure your opponent enough then you leave much more damage on the table to be had. Also, if you’re one of those people who go for max damage high difficulty combo and drop them occasionally, you end up losing out on more damage in the long run anyways.

@@TkAnakin Such a great point. Even if you hit a 70 damage combo 95% of the time, a 67 damage combo you hit 100% of the time will have higher expected value and do more damage over time. You're much more likely to lose a round from dropping a combo than you are from getting 3 less damage.

it's called the scrubification of tekken , this is a dumb in your face mechanic so you're going to eat rage arts regardless of how good you are, contrary to what some morons say on forums that if you eat ragearts it means you suck at the game

When they are coming off the ground a good rush close then quick guard sometimes get them out of their element. It's just something you have to look out for, once you are good at it, 95% wont touch you/

Paul is a 50/50 when it comes to his crouch dash you'll either get deathfist'd or demo man.. both of those moves don't lead to a launch like Eddy or Xiaoyu does at times. But I'm talking in terms of tekken 7 and not this "aggressive" t8 bs
