Then when the Vergil fight fell through on the day of the weigh in, when he was asked if his next fight could be against Ennis, he made excuses and said he's been on a long layoff and needs a tuneup. Mind you this is the day before his Vergil Ortiz fight whom some thought was better than Ennis. But Stanionis didn't, he's scared of Ennis.
