Thanks for reacting to this wonderful song. The original video from the mid 70’s was very impactful and intense. Glad Greg did this collaboration with Ian before he passed away. I heard that Greg Lake wrote this at 15 years old. Brilliant man and musician.

RIP Greg Lake who left us in 2016. Originally written by Greg, it was recorded in 1974 then released the following year, it reached number two in the UK singles chart being kept from the number one position by Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. It's a Christmas staple on UK radio stations every festive period and continues to sell, charting again in 1984 and 1986.

Two of my favourite artists from back in the day. Now that is perfect for Christmas 💞⛄🎄💞⛄🎄 Merry Christmas guys 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 Ian Anderson was self taught so when his daughter took up the flute properly, she gave him a hard time for not doing it correctly 🤣🤣

St Bride's is known as "The Journalists' Church" because Fleet Street was where the national newspapers were headquartered in London.

This is my favorite secular Christmas song and my favorite performance! The simple arrangement is so good. You have really helped make my Christmas! Your tree is quite lovely but you are definitely not in the Great White North!
