DBT you can't talk about it easy to get progression coins in the Series store because it take a long time to get. the series coin so you can't talk about taking out S-Class from the series store because it is hard to save up enough money to get them in the Series store. Example. To get an op car. like a Koenigsegg Jessica it takes 90 thousand series store coins.

and. in The gauntlet store it's even harder to get 8000 thousands to purchase one single S-Class car it takes forever to save up because of the bracket issues.and you only get.100 gauntlet coins each League you go into.

I know what happened in the last two car hunts (AM Victor and Me412) What happened was that they increased the amount of points to reach level 15 In the car hunt for Renault 838 points were needed, but this increased to an unattainable 925 in the last two car hunts

Yep and I got played by this. In a way this is kinda related to "the class S cars" topic. I played this game for a few months 3-4 years ago, uninstalled shortly after the fc + reduction of credit rewards kicked in. Decided to check, how the game is nowadays, saw some comments that it is a bit better and started from the beginning nearly 2 months ago (just for the fun of it). So in a way I'm an old noob, who hasn't got a lot of vehicles. Suddenly I managed to gain one S-class car from a car hunt despite missing a couple of boxes. This helped me put my hands on another one at the next car hunt. I realized that I need an A-class car in order to unlock the pro season in single player, so I saved some more credits and (more importantly) parts, fc and free upgrades, and bought the Bugatti Sport.... However, I managed to gain enough stars to progress even without upgrading the car and (since I don't enjoy much driving this particular car), decided to spend my hard earned resources on another A-class vehicle instead. If I had a choice, I'd go for the E-Tense Performance, as I tried it at the Special Event and found out that this car works great for me, but for a new f2p player, winning it just wasn't an option. So I had to go for the AM Victor, which seemed at least like a good A-class car. This time a managed to get each and every box a f2p player can get, and yet I was about a dozen coins short. there was a Car Coins Cup Event going on, where one could get additional boxes, but in order to participate I needed... the very car I was trying to win. I think in English this is called "Catch 22". So I barely made space in my tiny garage, selling even S-class parts in order to squeeze in the A-class parts from my Inbox and hoped that (if I got lucky) I might win another good A class car at the next car hunt. But when it started I saw the prize - Chrysler Me412. What the...?! The cheapest A-class car?! While it has some advantages, it is overall even worse than the Bugatti 😓An insult to the injury. I didn't even bother trying. And, seeing your comment, I suspect that others got disappointed as well 🤔 Kinda kills the fun 😮‍💨 Anyway, stay safe 🍀

@@namm_ Well... the Chrysler isn't a very good investment, anyway. Since I couldn't get the AM Victor and did not want the Chrysler, I hoped that I can get Pagani Zonda R, which has some disadvantages but is better than the other credit A-class cars (at least for an old guy with weak reflexes like myself 😅). But the Zonda is in a bundle now, so it cannot be purchased with anything else but money ATM. So I, being a f2p, had to buy Spada Codatronca, which seems to be something in between the Bugatti and Zonda having some advantages and disadvantages that those two cars have. It takes some time to gather 1 700 000 credits, but it is not that hard either. Anyway, I wish you good luck 🍀and don't forget to have fun 😇

The Neon Season rewards were amazing, really On the f2p side there were kits, cards, credits and fusion coins, 100 storage slots and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS On the p2w side there were +500 slots, Dodge Tomahawk, more fusion coins and credits, DMC Delorean, 488 Challenge EVO, Lotus Evija, Fenyr SS and a decal for the car, KTM X-Bow GTX, Mazda Furai, more kits and cards, two pilot skins and... TWO ULTIMATE UPGRADE'S *All this costing just $10 US dollars* If it weren't for these themed seasons, I would still have a measly 200 storage slots to this day (I currently have 900 and it's still not enough, believe me)

What makes many players focus on the S class are the points We all know that S class cars are the ones that gain the most points in the classic season, but before this new season it didn't work like that What GL needs to do to attract more players to the other tiers (mainly classes C and B) was to reduce the difference in points that a car in class d earns in relation to one in class s - notice, the current difference is huge A class A car already has difficulty earning points close to 2,000, while a class S car can easily go up to 2,400 If you are + or - 1980 in the classic and use a class A car you need to qualify in the top 3 of the race, while the S class goes up even being in the top 8, which is cruel with cars with lower classifications. The difference in points must exist, mainly because an S class is expensive and difficult to upgrade, but it should not devalue the other classes so much because of this Which is why more advanced players focus on the S class as the lower classes do not improve points and they actually drop a lot if you are in Elite and don't place in the top 3-2 in races

Well, this was definitely a long video, but one that I thoroughly enjoyed. The points you make are very valuable and the solutions are even more so. I seriously hope that Gameloft, or at least some of their managers, directors and/or developers watch this video. You seriously and strategically pointed out the problems and gave them very good solutions; solutions that I hope they will consider. I have been playing this game for the past two and a half years and I still enjoy it. Granted, it has become a little dull for the same reasons you have mentioned but it doesn't mean that it can't make a spectacular comeback. Again, I seriously, seriously hope Gameloft watches this video. Thank you DBT for this much needed eye-opening video. I look forward to seeing what else comes from you. Great video!! Great job!!

This is was a really good video. I've been thinking about some of these topics myself as well. My thoughts have been more focused on the gameplay and economy, but similar. I really liked the methods you suggested for encouraging players to play with different ranks of cars in both classic and master seasons. Also, I felt it was a really awesome idea to provide cars of all classes in the gauntlet and multiplayer stores! Combined with the multiplayer reworks, this would be a huge improvement to the game. Gameloft has made a lot of questionable decisions... it would be interesting to see their profits after certain changes to the game. I was also thinking, it might be interesting to make the classic season daily rewards require races using a car in a certain class in order to progress. However, this is a bit more of a direct solution to the symptoms rather than the root problem, so I personally would avoid it. Overall, very enjoyable and brought up some interesting points I hadn't thought of! I'd love to see some more long form analysis videos in the future :D

At first when I saw the raeser and Renault after the car hunt patch I accepted the fact they cut the care hunt in half cus at least I can grind for s class cars but once the victor’ car hunt came out, I grinder through the ENTIRE 7 days to max and didn’t even get ‘enough’ for it and when I saw the land shark being only in premium and no cars on free, I was freaking ANNOYED. This game is truly now a forced p2w game

it's insane to imagine 2 ultimate upgrades for $15 along with other rewards Also another reason why people only use class S after a while is because everyone else in class S will always be elite league, meaning they give you a ton of rating points when you beat them. If you race in a class D bracket in elite league, there will be a ton of lower league players who make you lose a ton of rating points when they beat you, so it's inefficient that way.

I think what u should also have touched on too are the fact that gameloft is removing cars for some reason. I was 80k creds off from silver lightning and on the overnight update, IT GOT REMOVED. It also includes popular picks such as Aston Martin db9 coupe, Arrinera hussyara, nissian gtr Nismo, Maserati granturismo, Koenigsegg Agera R, vencer sarthe, Benz silver Lightning & others too

I tried to get the childhood feel of the game really hard but after seeing how they want us p2w to go further is absolutely ridiculous. Special event cars right now is ungrindable from adding battlepass premium cars into long strips to putting in the goddamn TREASURE RUSH cars which are less than 1% to obtain is just stupid to me right now. Now I understand my child self why I quit at the fusion coins update. I couldn’t take the p2w anymore

I think gameloft and even players are more focused on getting more and more s-class cars is because of the gauntlet and even multiplayer, there is no variety in both those game modes, I can easily see people focusing on cars of other tiers if gameloft make them by introducing class/car(s)/brand specific MP and even gauntlet seasons, they are just doing bare minimum with this game at this point, no creativity at all

Watching this video, I am also going through a philosophical thinking phase with A9. As much as I know I hate pay 2 win, it’s still a business so I’m not going to remove it. I remembered back when legend passes were introduced, they gave 1 car in the free pass which is something I would like to see past legend pass cars obtained at whatever stars the main one is. SE are so bad, not giving a single chance to unlock the main like how it used to be back when the game launched. I don’t like the current amount of series score needed to grab all of the rewards and the MP pass shouldn’t even have been green lot because that ruined basically the whole grinding process. I still would like to see career being extended form chapter 6 and maybe introduce more chapters to make it more interesting to hop back and play. And the big elephant in the room, are the ranking system and rearranging some cars to the proper class. Most of them are epic, the China version did a great job placing them on how they performed. Not over inflating the ranks. Honestly, if I had a channel, we can make concept notes with your A8 ideas and my A9 ideas to make the game more interesting and more players jumping. I really like what you did and I hope you keep bringing more good ideas. Yes, I’m free 2 play, but there were sometimes that I could of bought some legend passes because the car looked good and the benefits would help me along with the daily events pass. So I am down to watch you make another one if you are still interested in improving the game because some of my ideas are connected with mine, and for Gameloft, please try to bring more variety because replaying the same cars are so boring. In other words, how hard can it be? Any one can guess who uses that phrase?

I agree, the A8 needs thorough changes. It's a pretty good game, and would be even better with tweaks. First of all, more realism in driving, there is too much flying and totally unnecessary. Abolish rotation both vertically and horizontally. Countless times my car uncontrollably "turned over" on its back like a cow. Third, cancel the wreck of your car by another car that was wrecked in front of you. Your car wrecked through no fault of your own, due to the driver's mistake in front of you, nonsense. In short, it would be far, far better if it were more realistic.

The only issue I have is with tokens, perhaps bring back events with tokens rewards, it doesn't have to be everyday even twice a month is okay as long as f2p can gather tokens and use them wisely

Racing pass problem :Gameloft should change the racing pass system , like if a credis car going to be in the racing pass it need to be free at the lvl 8 for free beacause it not a rare car . Gauntlet store problem:gameloft need to do a d class car on amateur league and challenger a c class cars and pro a b class cars .............. and finally on elite give your s class car Multiplayer weekend cup problem: gameloft need to add some cars from differente classes no only class S I wish gameloft do the changes i sayed now

This is perhaps the longet vid (excluding the livestreams) to be made by DBT cooked. Long vid but full of DBT's wisedom he has. And I agree with everything GL needs to do. By doing these suggestions GL can increase player base and have more money increase in monitization. And yes as I said earlier, it's the community who complain about this. In A8 official Discord there is quite a lot of complainers there that makes you lose braincells 💀. One thing DBT, you forgot about gambling and talking about the solution to that, which is... remove gambling completely I do have some tips to help F2P players progress in A8 -1. The most important thing is save your currencies. Save your credits, fcs, vouchers, and tokens. Don't spend them right away (that's why in ever A8 and A9 Switch vid you see DBT having a ton of tokens, credits, fcs, and vouchers saved up). Once you do, you will realize how important they will come in the future if there is a sale and you want that car really badly. That way you have the currencies saved and you can get that car of your dreams and still have plenty of currencies left over for the next sale of the next car of your dream. -2. Do TLEs. 4 TLEs, which are tires, suspension, drivetrain, and exhaust cups provide parts for D class but thye also provide 30min of each boosters along with 20k credits, which is actually extremely useful as the monthly reward links are limited along with showdown cup being RNG and luck base. These events only ask to do 1 perfect run, no wreck, and finish 1st to get the boosters. Simple task to do and you still get your D class parts. There is also a TLE that gives uncommon parts and 20k fcs. And if you don't have enough boosters, then do MP Cup. Occassionally there will be special TLEs giving some lovely rewards like dus, fcs, etc. -3. Do Master season. In Master, I do believe anyone can reach Elite easier there vs Classic. But if you want more MP badges for parts, then just casually do 10 races in both Classic and Master (MP badge will increase everytime you reach a new league). This is total of 20 races. By doing this, you can get decent amount of rewards to progress in it. -4. Watch ads. But why did I put this at the dead last bottom? Ads are good for monitization yes but they're actually also a problem and ads do indeed have more than just 1 problem. The problem of ads are; ads won't load, you finish watching an ad but game doesn't apply the upgrade, ads cause the game to crash randomly, ads in non-skippable, ads can contain 18+ stuff (this depends on your tracking and search by Google or whatever the tracking is), ads doesn't function at all, or your internet is super slow and causing the ad to not work (or something like me, your internet has a built-in ad blocker through the entire network). People say ads are the best, and ye it is true BUT only by 50%. Ads can give you storage, fcs, credits and upgrade current cars with ad upgrades but with these possible problems i mentioned ads can also be a pest. That's why ads ARE NOT the best option. Ok so for people who DO have money with a decent-good paying job, and will/plan to whale, here are some tips on that -1. Don't go broke instantly. Spend on well worthy deals. If you go by performance then spend on a good performing car like Faradie, Apollo IE, Vulcan, etc, but don't spend on a car that performs horrible like MP4-31, Mazzanti, etc. However, IF you go by looks and engine sound and ignore performance then you can spend your money on a car like MP4-31, Mazzanti, Bentley Continental GT3, etc. If you hate cars that doesn't look good, why spend it? If you want it for collection sure you can but why waste some $$ on a car your opinion thinks it doesn't look good (like both Faradie cars, 612 Scagliette, etc. -2. DO NOT spend on gambling. A8 has treasure rush for 1+ year and yes, it's gambling. Gambling is the worst thing you can even do. All you are doing is dumbing your money to gamble and "beg" for something more rewarding. Tho this is your choice to gamble or not but it is highly recommended to NOT gamble at all. Yes tr provides du (the most important thign most players go for) but it still falls under the gambling category. Not only gambling is bad for you but it can cause LOTs of problems in the future. This happens in IRL a lot of times. -3. DO NOT spend on a worthless deal. Doing this, you get nothing special. Most worthles deals are usually pro kit parts but however, this isn't the case. If you in need of pro kits then ye go spend on a worth deal that provide pro kits for you. But most part if you got PLENTY of kits in your inventory, then it's not worth wasting your money on this. As mentioned in the 1st tip on this, just spend your money on something worth, something you like, something that will keep you happy. Hope these tips on progressing helps you. ANd yes I also cook this up myself 💀. Long read but worth it. Let me know if I miss anything here

There is no more such game mode, sorry. The only Single Player modes now are the Career mode and the Moto Blitz (for bikes). Technically there is a "Solo Race"mode as well, where one can race against 7 AI opponents with similar vehicles, but this is good only for practice and/or fun - no rewards for such races (for Windows players, anyway).

S class races are more balanced. B and A class are dominated by a few cars and if u dont have those cars then u will most likely lose a lot of races which frustrates players and make them avoid those leagues.

Ok so I’m gonna reply to all of ur time stamps 1:02 ok so for the car hunt problem I always missed the festival but when they brought it back i was super happy I got the raser tachyon and then I got the Renault but then I couldn’t get the victor and then I owned the Chrysler and now I need the bmw but gameloft is doing the 10$ car thing and free 2 play can get it and I want the mosler. So gameloft I WANT MY CLASS S CARS 8:22 first of all DBT thanks for the multiplayer so I didn’t get bored:D ok seriously now I’ll talk in 2022 I think I got the neon season pass with new music that awesome custom nitro car and good rewards then next was the gangster Vegas season with had new music as well which was really nice and then the other season kinda went downhill I think because I wasn’t playing after the season after gangster Vegas.
