Lost a cousin, my mom, my father in law, and then my father all in 2022, after my father passed his current wife took my little sister to another state and took her own life after secretly getting rid of a lifetimes worth of his belongings. A week ago (moved away January) I was finally able to see her again, take her to lunch, do a little shopping and just enjoy some time together. It was awesome, especially after the tough times we had been through. You are awesome dude, I hope you get to do things like this forever and continue to lift people up and show them that even when life is bad love is the light that breaks through the darkness.

I had different thoughts of the guy. When someone approaches and says you do not care, I feel like these are the type of people that feel or may have went through a situation where they haven't been understood or watched others not being understood and also wouldn't care for anyone around them going through pain, but wants others to only understand their pain only (but this guy is showing more stubbornness than anything else, so we don't exactly know if he is or has gone through pain...who knows). But he shouldn't have judged someone who was helping others, that is absolutely wrong & unnecessary! Edit: a hug is so powerful, so warm & comforting. I remember watching a video where hugging and crying was used in a country as therapy to release stress and anxiety.

I wish i could have at least noticed these signs and talked with him and been there when he need it. Just be their for your friend alright? Make sure they are okay. Talk with them and help them get through whatever it is they are going through, something i wish i could have done better

@@mess2304 yeah it was during school. Pretty tough to continue to go to the same school. But we couldn't afford to move. I started skipping entire days and just sat in my room. It was hard for me and my other pals to recover from this. I learned that i just gotta listen to people more and understand their situation and help them we all did and so thats what we did. But we did end up moving, all that just gone to waste

As I am typing this full of tears, I am missing my mother, my dad, step dad, mother in law, brother, many aunts and uncles. I come from a large family, I am sure you could tell. The older you get the more you appreciate life, what a strange secret you don't really understand when your young. I still celebrate holidays with my immediate family because I love the holidays, all of them. What you do Hun is beautiful, just being able to reach out a simple gesture that has so much meaning and emotion behind it, Is a gift! Dude I cried and smiled and i am 42! There is no age to crying, and I'm not ashamed to say i did cry, hit me in the heart seeing this. That was amazing the amount of people that stopped and you turned their day around for that brief time they talked with you! I lost my dad in 03 and there are still hard days for me. I'm 45 and single out doing life on my own. I struggle so hard with people not realizing how lonely it is for a lot of people. How little eye contact and physical touch we need. Just to be noticed and not be invisible. When you don't have family and kids around to get you up and going every day ... it's a concept so many people can't begin to understand. 6th years anniversary of losing my mom 2 days ago, 5 years of my dog who fought for one more year to give me a little time to heal before I let him go in my arms.
