I'm not going to be Greta Thunberg and start a debate on climate change, but we can't sit back and wait for paradise and just think "God will stop man from ruining the earth." I've figured out how to grow 50% of my own food in my little backyard and it's not that hard. I'm working toward growing most of my own food but winter makes it hard. Instead of becoming a climate change warrior, I just try to show people how it can be done and that it's actually quite fun to garden and doesn't take that much time.

Squash, kale, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, peppers, zucchini, mushrooms (shiitake, wine cap, oyster, puffball, lion's mane), apples, grapes, edible flowers... and our chickens eat the food scraps and produce eggs and fertilizer. All organic. It's a learning curve but that's the fun of it. It's fascinating to watch it all work together. Creationists may say "see, that's proof of God!" and I won't deny that possibility, I just hope that God isn't a genocidal narcissist.

I currently work at a Water Reclamation Plant in Los Angeles. Deal with Hazmat all the time. I've been here for 8 years. YOU DO NOT BURY BARRELS OF ANY KIND.they need to be desposed of properly. The soils are only one aspect of the matter. Ground water impacts are the other. There needs to be a ground water investigation or make sure the drinking supply will be or hasn’t been impacted by any leaking drums. In rural regions all the water supplies come from the ground water.

@@madamecurious they didnt accually buy the site they paid all the fines imposed on the former owners of the scrapyard for pollution impossed on them by the local council ‘then came to an agreement with the council that it would cost a fortune to remove all the land contaminated so dozed it into an agreed area covered it for the unseen future ‘just for reference this is also an area once owned by the knights templars

Lloyd, thank you for this channel. I was born in as a Jehovah’s Witness. In 1984 I was PIMO, then left completely by 1985. My story is too long to share via the comments section but it has in most part to do with the alcoholism so very prevalent in the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization and the AWAKENING of my mother. Nonetheless I can profess that GOD’s Holy Spirit/Blessings/Divine Protection left that organization decades ago. My heart goes out to each and every still there believing they have “THE TRUTH” when in fact they’re living a lie! I pray and truly believe they’re eyes will be open, as I watch them now and I say “By The Grace Of GOD there go I”!

Do you mean that you are interpreting the U.S. Government providing health and safety guidance during a global pandemic, in accordance with the increased information, to be the equivalent of the JWs hiding toxic waste? The U.S. government is providing vaccinations to build people's immune systems to a deadly virus, whereas the G.B. spread toxic waste around the Bethelite living area, where they also grow vegetables, and covered it up. So actually diametrically opposite. Unless you are looking at what the Republicans are doing to subvert these public health recommendations, blatantly lying and risking people's lives for popularity, perhaps? But what is mostly in consensus is the inability to leave without losing friends, family, work etc. Society is not like this. We are free to believe what we want to believe, in most countries. Some individual families may reject family members who don't share their beliefs, or follow religious traditions and rules, but that is not society as a whole.

Wow, nice to know that I was eating food that was grown at the Farm in Wallkill for four years in the 70s, probably grown in some of this toxic waste that quite possibly could have been spread on the fields like manure. Great! I remember the veggies were really delicious but wth was the mystery meat they fed us? lol I've probably had benzine running through my veins. They made the Farm look a bit parklike (paradise?) for our viewing pleasure but unbeknownst to us there was printing waste with Benzine lying underneath and all the while there were prominent figures who knew this in Brooklyn Heights. What a nice prelude to a paradise earth. So responsible of them too. The more I think about this the more I am realizing that this org was/is just behaving like a masked corporation. More to do with saving face than promoting health and truth it appears.

I knew someone that worked in the printing department in the 60s or 70s (not revealing for anonymity), . He was an ass (narcissist), totally misogynistic. I have to be thankful, though, because his behavior made me swear off any "brothers" that had spent time in Bethel. I wonder if he knew about the barrels. I'll never know, he would NEVER say, so diehard. No offense to those that did, many came out and still have their humanity, like William here. In my teenage mind I thought there was something about the institutional system that ruined people; now I know it is the JW hierarchy instead.
