Good to see someone being proactive. Measure the situation and make a plan. Awful lot of farmers are in the same situation and they just crossing their fingers for a dry early spring. Make a plan, act early and it’s amazing what you get over.

I was going to say poor Tom Pemberton, but on reflection, he'd be the first to laugh OR point the finger back lmao Having got this far through your back catalogue, I appreciate what Tom Pemberton meant when he mentioned your name Excellent camera and editing work Wart and all farming content Provable and backed up information Great video's, keep them coming 👏 👍 👌 Geoff

It's a DJI, the 249g one. Wasn't expensive

Do you have an opinion on acid as additive in silage? Have you tried it? More costly and tougher on machines but reliable

Is there a reason for why you don’t cover the sides of the silo with plastic before you start putting in the grass?
@andrewbaird34313 ай бұрын
He''s given his reasons in previous videos and he would have shredded it with the compactor at the end if he had one,🫣 But agree you should always use a side sheet
@FarmTheoryNI3 ай бұрын
Benefit is less with the sides well compacted, much easier during winter without side sheets to deal with.

Yes it definitely should. No break away in front mowers back mowers have them. and you have some chance of seen a stone or branch from a tree from the back mower not a hope from the front.

Think Andrew has just been demoted from JF operator 😮 David didn't miss the trailer once😜just think of all those extra tons of silage you could have had in the pit had they landed in the trailer😂😂😂 WOW what is the silage making expert doing🤯🤯 leaving the pit open over night and rolling it again in the morning🤬🤬 shoolboy error, squeezes out the CO2 produced by the bugs overnight and sucks back in oxygen🫨🤦 Didn't realise your excelent silage video last year was your first, I left a comment on one of Mr Pemberton's videos telling him to watch and learn, good to see him asking your opinion on silage making, pity he doesn't always listen(his 1st cut). Keep up the good work👏👏
