That's what makes child abuse such a horrible act. It causes their victims to grow up with simmering rage close to the surface of their personality from the PTSD & the anger they exhibit is a symptom of that, not a defect in their character like most people assume.

@@youtuber7186 What you say makes sense, but that just doesn't seem fair. It's like the kid gets abused by his family then society goes on to abuse him as well by turning it's back on him through no fault of his own. If we use the U.S as an example, It's seems hypocritical to me that the government spends trillions of dollars investing money into corrupt countries like Afghanistan & Ukraine's military when even a small part of that money could be therapeutically used to turn around some of the negative momentum that's happening to it's own acutely ill citizens to give them a chance to change the childhood adversities that they've faced into a positive result.

I was beaten as a child as well,to the extent of which most people will never understand. I believe this is what makes me try so hard to be a good father to my own children.
@selectiveapathy9 ай бұрын
I grew up with the belief that i was a mistake and shouldve never been born. My mother left me with my grandparents whom would beat me, they would keep my clothes at a minimum and would send me out in sun to sell crops. I was reunited with my mother and her new husband. I honestly thought that my life would be way way better then! But it was the same minus the sending me to sell crops. I was beaten with leather belts, leather sandals, even at time the vaccum cord. I never really had a place to call “home”. If it hadnt been for my wife, i honestly can say i wouldnt be here now. She is the one that continues to give me the love and acceptance that i was always looking as for a child. Never in my life growing up and numerous suicidal thoughts, did i think that i would find my best friend and love of my life. I still go around my mother and stepfather but i keep the meetings short. No more than 3 hrs with them. My mother wonders why i cant show emotions towards them but i know she will not understand the perspective i have now of why i am the way i am. Thankfully, one thing i really learned from them was to never hit my children, be there to hear about their day at school, and to address any predicaments they may be facing. My wife gave me a little girl as a first child for both of us and i couldnt be any happier!

That's what my mom said. She was very abused as a child. I wasn't even allowed to meet her mom. (The one that abused her.) Later on my mom met this guy who mentally and physically abused me. But was always nice to me around her. I was terrified of him. I'm 32 now. And I've got severe anger issues. Depression. Anxiety. Tics that won't go away. You can really mess a kid up at an early age.
