I Bought 100 PS5 & Xbox 360 games from GameStop...

A few things I found out after recording this video: -75% of the games needed resurfacing. A lot of them looked really bad. -2 weeks after ordering, I still have 2 FedEx packages that have not arrived. -A couple game discs are cracked. -A couple of the games are missing a disc. -A couple games don't work (and I've only tested about half so far). Once I get the rest of my packages from GameStop and test everything, I'll reach out to GameStop and hopefully get some replacements. Overall, pretty poor showing from GameStop here (not really surprising tbh 😂).

Sadly only limited print compainies for games are the main ones that do manuals, posters and other kinds of extra stuff. Which is fine. I order limited print games a lot. But normally retail games for modern games just come with the cover artwork and the disc and maybe some artwork on the inside of lucky.

Buying stuff from GameStop is such a gamble. A little bit after the PS5 came out I was somehow able to get one through GameStop. That's back when they were selling out everywhere almost instantly. I got the bundle that came with a controller and 2 games. When the package came it was just the stuff that came with the regular purchase of the system. No extra controller and no extra games. It was probably around a $200 difference for the items that were supposed to be in the bundle. I contacted GameStop and they wouldn't do anything about it. They said my only answer was to return the entire thing (which they probably wouldn't have refunded it all anyways since the games and controller that they didn't give me wouldn't be included.) It took me around 3 months of contacting them almost everyday asking for a refund of the items that were missing before they finally agreed and refunded me the difference.

Is it really normal for GameStop in the U.S. to sell used games in random condition and even loose? I haven't bought that much from GameStop (maybe around ten used games or so) but here in Germany I always get the games in an original box and, if there is any, the manual. Sure, conditions vary a bit but they were always good or better.

The sad thing about gamestop is if they lowered there prices sold more then just current gen games and took better care of there stock I would actually consider buying from them its just there stuff is always a hit or miss they lack release date delivery and there prices are higher then there competition why would I buy from them when i can get the same thing cheaper a better price and it comes to be on its release date from amazon or in 2 days with free prime shipping

We just bought 3 games from gamestop new but they sent us opened games with fingerprints on the cds! They think we are stupid or something? Lol game is opened with a new sticker on the front cover doing even more damage to the packaging. It's used not new It's total fraud i don't know wtf these guys are thinking. TBF, when you placed these bulk orders they probably got passed on to an associate working single coverage who was juggling four other online orders, a line, two system trades, an inventory count, and that days shipment. Oh, and one of the customers has a shirt they claimed they pulled off the clearance rack while some distraught parent is asking why the store you had no hand in building doesn't have a public restroom, and the customers keep forming a second line for some fucking reason and coming up to the wrong side of the goddamn register despite watching the customer in front of them use the middle pin pad. And now the phone is ringing and the guy who was supposed to replace you at 3 o clock just quit and you're stuck there for the rest of the day and school just let out and a kid dropped an ice cream cone and now there's three system trades and a customer is red faced in front of you demanding one of four copies of Modern Warfare 3 sitting on the counter that you can't sell him because it's part of an online order you've been trying to piece together for the last two hours. And now the district manager is calling wondering why you have six unfulfilled online orders and also you're fired but can you pretty please stay and finish your shift or else you won't get a positive recommendation from us. And then you wake up with no recollection of how you got home and a story on the news about a massacre at a local shopping center and you're covered in blood and you hope it is not Chris's blood and the phone rings and you're unfired and can you come in to help clean up the store because it looks like the Tasmanian Devil came through hopped up on cocaine...

I rarely shopped at GameStop. I instead used them as a rental service. Buy a used game, try it out, if I liked it I would buy it new from another store and return the used game back to GameStop. It was rare when I actually bought something and stayed with it. I bought 4 games in December. The dumb ass fedex driver delivered to wrong address. I called GameStop and we are now in march and I still don’t have my refund. Managers are useless, they say they are backed up from Xmas which is a damn joke. They say I have to wait until fedex replies to them. I would never use GameStop again.
