Your videos sound good ,look good,but for someone that doesn't know the business,or knowledge about cars its not a good idea for them to follow in your direction unless they have money to throw away,for everyone reading this,stay away from auction bidding unless you have some inside information about the car your bidding on,most of theses cars are junk that other dealers are bringing in to unload there trouble to the public,they get them running just good enough to make it cross that line,

I’ve sold cars for under 1500 most of the time people that invest that little that they have know what they’re buying and shouldn’t expect it to last for a year or more after all it’s all entry level for us resellers, and if you do come a problem and tell the buyer and present the car fax and they still agree I don’t think you’ll have a problem! Good luck to everyone venturing into this!

The Toyota Avalon has the same issue as the Chrysler 2.7..Toyota had a class action lawsuit and lost ! Many 4 and 6 cyl Toyota-Lexus of the late 1990's to the mid 2000's had that major issue ! Toyota engines failed from 7,000 miles to this day ! Like the Chrysler 2.7 they are either good and last 200,000 miles or fail !

@@01trsmar The 3MZ and 1MZ engines had problems with a knock sensors and valve cover gaskets on high mileage engines but, it's pretty much they are the only 2 engine repair it will ever see and they are excellent engines as long as you keep up with 3000 mile oil changes on conventional or just use synthetic oil. The 2GR-FE has much better knock sensor design, camshaft cover gaskets, and sludge immunity than the 3mz engines. I had a 2004 Lexus RX 330 and had to fixed the knock sensors and valve cover gaskets and I ran synthetic oil and have been punctual with oil changes to eliminate any chances of sludge build up. I got rid of it at 176k miles because I got tired of having a crossover and wanted a sedan. It was a very reliable SUV and it only broke down once because of CV shaft failure but, it was a cheap minor repair.

I used to buy cars for 100 dollars in california and used them until they literally blown up on the highways. just left them there for the city to pick em up later. it is just madness to spend a thousand dollars in a car in america. way to many cars in the auction, way to many people who doesnt know shit about cars and will sell only on account of a failing regulator on the alternator. they think is like the end of the world they literally give away their car and go to the dealership to get ripped off yet again and so the circle of life is completed.

I used to buy cars for a major dealer in Wisconsin at auctions (Milwaukee,Chicago) etc....maybe a total of 500 cars in 7 years. 99% of these cars and trucks needed major repairs. Let's see a video of these cars after repairs and sales receipt when sold. You're going to have to cut your margin of profit by at least 50% and most of the time, much more. DO NOT BUY CARS AT AUCTION ......and expect to make a ton of money. Every once in a while you'll luck out but, 9 out of 10 times you won't. CARS ARE AT AUCTION FOR A REASON.

Alrighty...all of you have valid points. But, if you listened to him, all vehicles he goes through and fixes mechanical issues. Unless it isn’t cost effective. As far as Ricks comment of, “don’t buy auction cars”, that’s pretty presumptive. I’m not taking from from your years in the business. But, if you know what you’re doing, know what kind of cars the auction is selling, and good ol luck....you can make money from buying QUaLITY vehicles. Before you fire back, answer me this....if a car is a repo, and you get it for cheap...how often are they complete crap? Not often. Are shit cars out there in the repo and trade ins....of course! If you want in on this business of flipping cars....know your shit. The vehicles, models, years, pros/cons and your local market....learn that, you should do pretty well. Just do it as a side hustle...

As a Chrysler guy I can say thats the worst Chrysler built engine...They have sludge if you dont change the oil on time and if the water pump leaks it gets into the oil,and wrecks the engine.. The 2.7 are either very reliable and many have 200,000 trouble free miles,thing is if you abuse it not maintaining it they are as I said above,thing is some were x rentals and well abused.. ..2005 or so the issue was fixed. That Toyota Avalon is the Engine sludge worse than the 2.7 Chrysler,Toyota had a class action lawsuit as people with maintained low mileage new Toyota's engines stopped running as they were shot ! Toyota-Lexus had engine sludge on 4 and 6 cyl engines ! They thought they were done with issues from the 3.0 head gasket failures when new,oh boy ! FYI : Toyota had a bigger engine sludge issue and people never mention it,they have many Toyota's with 200,000 but on the 3rd engine !! The 3.0 Toyota is a head gasket popping nightmare..I bought many of them and had issues,like the Chrysler 2.7 either good or bad lol..

When I was flipping cars back in the '70's & '80's I could at least get my money back on a dud just from selling the wheels and tires. I parted many cars out and bought my own used pneumatic tire machine and balancing machine. Saturdays during snow season I'd make more money selling used tires than you could make flipping a car. More work, but it filled in the slow spots! Monday I'd go to my regular work place and buy/sell in the evenings. It's called hustling for a reason.

Is that lynnway ? Go all the way to the last lane away from the office red lights galore i bought a lexus for 500.00 got chewed out for buying it we put 200 into it and i got 3000 for it less than 2 weeks later the owner of the shop only bought junk audis its why i have a q5 that still needs a new starter a year after breaking down cause its the worst engineered car in the universe. Its a game you have to work at constantly if you dont buy you dont sell. Love how truthful you are but it has a lot of negatives that go with it.

We have two big size auction sites within 5 miles of me and I've never bought a car from either one. But, they both have been in buisness over 40 years, on auction day their full and the next day damn near empty.

I want to get into buying from auctions and I did my research already about how to go into things but here in Miami people are paying way too much for cars its ridiculous. Online bidders too are crazy.... Great video by the way..

The thing I noticed is that when he calculates " profit " there is no allocation for " repairs "......would YOU sell a car with two dented doors and a fender?....more importantly, would you buy one? NO.

Hi I had a question. Upon buying the vehicle, don't you need to register the car under your name? Wouldn't it cost around $225+ per car or is there a way around this since your're selling it anyways? On top of that in some states, it's required that the vehicle needs to be under your insurance to be registered. Please help and answer my questions. And thanks in advance!
@FlyingWheels
@FlyingWheels 5 жыл бұрын
If you have a dealers license, you don't need to register them or title. You can transfer/assinlgn title to buyer
