AirPod second gen are not that old. A new version with usb c was recently released Sept 2023. There’s new features to both lightning and usb c versions that came with iOS 17.

@@Hello-ue2xt Even if they reintroduced a version with usb-c they aren't that much different in the hardware spec or improvement. If Apple wasn't forced to adopt usb-c I think they would have kept the older model of the lightport Airpods. Or they want to push customers to spend more money so all their devices can match usb-c. I'm fine with the older lighting cable if that means savings. I still use the iphone 13.

UGH i got those airpods and it popped open and i thought it was my brute strength, i really just broke a real airpod! my workouts are working! anyways i pulled a cord and it broke and the sound stopped working, so I just returned them and got a refund. glad it wasn't just me 😬🙈 sad i it wasn't my brute strength though
