Their gamerscore wouldn’t update unless Jacob would connect these consoles to the internet but even then for the account to connect to Xbox live and update, Jacob would need the accounts password.

That Wii where you had issues with the Sensor bar might just be a thing in the Options. You have to tell the console if you have the sensor bar below or above the screen, and I guess most people have it below the screen which also should be the default. That console might have been set up to expect a above screen sensor bar instead.

I recently bought a NXE 9199 dashboard 360 slim off ebay recently for $120. Extremely rare nowadays and I'm super happy to have it. 9199 was my favorite, most nostalgic dashboard as that's when I first started playing on xbox live. I could've just bought any old NXE 360 fat model, but the slim is super reliable. This one I got is CLEAN. Like, someone played it for 30 minutes and never touched it again. The controller is factory new (grips still have the bumps) and it came with that 360 headset (also new). It's by far, the most rare and valuable 360 I own. Literally a time capsule of a bygone era. I just happened to be on ebay at the right time to snag it. I doubt I'd ever be able to purposely find one at that price again.

10:00 - The Wii with the sensor bar issue, it may just be down to its placement setting. If memory serves, in the settings you could either set it to be on the top or the bottom of your TV and it would slightly adjust how it interacted.

It definitely is, the Sensor bar is just some Infra-red LED's. All the "magic" happens in the wiimote itself. And the cable for the sensor bar is just two wires, positive and negative. So it either is on or off, there is no way for it to have issues other than just not working. Especially when he said it was the same sensor bar he was using on the other Wii's.

The sensor bar jack only supplies power, there is no communication between the bar and the console. The sensor bar is simply 2 infrared lights that the wiimote uses as a point of reference. That console's sensor bar position setting is probably set to above TV. You can actually use 2 candles instead of the actual bar.

Yeah someone else commented about the sensor bar position in the settings - that's definitely it. I even did the 2 candle trick in a video a few years ago, so I should've realized that nothing is being communicated through that port 😂 thx for the info

All 360 slim elites (silver trim) have no internal storage built in but the regular slims all come with 4 internal storage, the elites came with a 250 gb hardrive

I had an NXE Xbox 360 slim six months ago as a backup because I still play Xbox 360. I replaced the Xbox 360 that died with a brand-new one and I did not know it had NXE. This was a problem since I had some games that were released from late 2016 to early 2017. I needed to update it to the current dashboard to play other games afterward. Some Xbox 360 games have updates for the Xbox 360 and my copy of WWE 2K16 forced it to update to the current dashboard. The current public version of the Xbox 360 system software is 2.0.17559.0 which was released on November 12th, 2019.

If I remember correctly if you are not signed in to the profile that purchased a game and that Xbox isn’t the home Xbox for the profile that did it will appear as a demo, you should check the games on all profiles

hey jacob that nxe slim system must of been reboxed. if the console was bundled with kinect there is no way to get pass the setup with out updated to kinect because the system came with kinect aventures so the system locked up until the disk was inserted and the system then updated off the disc. the system must of not had a kinect and been reboxed
