Hours of fun with that beast. A chap I know makes me vinyls of music that never appeared on any. Lovely to have the odd 12 inch with 'illegal' tunes on.

That's one helluva machine! Great to see the treasure trove of boxes and NOS parts and manuals etc that came along. You captured a collector's dream on camera here. Enjoy it! Good to know you're out there rescuing these things.

Those Audax heads are really good. Still get depressed that I got stupid several years ago and burned mine out on too much high end!

Fantastic!! So this really is a lathe. No many years ago there was all those adverts for people to take your records and transfer them to CD or even onto the computer. That was no use to me, I wanted access to a machine like this that would transfer the content of the few CD's I have onto a single or LP so I can play them on my turntable. There's a fair few songs I didn't bother buying because they couldn't be asked to put them out on vinyl. Even entire artist's catalogues, Placebo for one. Perhaps people are seeing now that they should have just stuck with records..

Mack! I just got one of these and the belt is dried up. Do you have a good source for a new belt? What kind of belt specifically?
@davidheafield14363 жыл бұрын
Matt , you can get an app on your phone that you can point at the Italian writing and it will translate into English for you , maybe a bit slow but nice to know if you get stuck on something.
