If anyone has an idea on how to fix the problem with the ghost touch, please let me know 👻

I used to have that on my old phone after dropping it a few times, I used an app that would put empty overlays where the ghost touch would touch, so that those touches would do nothing, idk if there are such windows apps though

Its probably some sort of water damage, I had an iphone 5 that got wet and the screen got a similar ghost touch problem. So maybe try opening it or something and cleaning out the moisture or corrosion

I have a Libretto W100 here in Australia.. It was working perfectly on Windows 7 so I foolishly updated it to Windows 10. It worked but it had the same issues you showed on the first one. The second screen's touch drove the first screen. I tried to get it working properly but I never could. Otherwise Windows 10 worked quite well. I was unable to restore to windows 7 for some reason so I thought I had ruined the laptop. After a while I discovered that the original Windows 7 recovery partition was still there and I was able to restore it to factory condition. I'm happy to use it this way. I can't remember how I found or started the recovery but it wasn't too hard. I like the way you were able to copy the contents of the hard drive using Linux. I'm going to try that in case I ever need to replace my hard drive.

Thank you. Yes, the recovery partition was unfortunately gone on one of the units and I just wanted to use the same method for both. I always use Linux to clone the drives that way if I mess something up I have a version to go back to. I am currently testing Windows 11. Lets see if I can get this to work :)

one of these running linux with gnome would be insanely cool imho. gnome is extremely touch friendly
@TechKingdom355 ай бұрын
That would be cool, I will try that :) Hopefully I can get the second touchscreen to work. In Debian with LXDE only one touchscreen works properly.

I’d rather have one of these than the classic 50ct tbh, pret cool video
@TechKingdom355 ай бұрын
Thank you very much. The 50ct is cool but I also think the W100 is just the more unique device

What do you think about Windows emulators for Android, for example Winlator
@TechKingdom355 ай бұрын
Very cool. I tried it a few weeks ago, and it works okayish really depends on what you want to do. Older games are quite good, but I had no luck with more modern stuff. I prefer a vm with full Windows to that, actually.

The Libretto has been shown by LGR already. But on the 6120 it would be cool
