You're not the only one disputing about TCG grading on cards, after buying a few highly sought after single cards listed for NM for my collection I stopped buying singles from TCG. TCG grading card standard is all over the place I swear, especially from these gold star sellers who lists their singles for NM with no pictures at all and don't even get me started on their shipping. $250+ card in a in a regular white mail envelope is a joke.

If you check ebay listings that have sold with the same condition (important condition drastically changes price) they are pretty similar in the ballpark area. Some cards he might have undervalued for example the gbi god cards sold have gone for over 2k along with the most decent current listing at 1200 for the set has all 3 in played condition (you can see whitening on all the edges). This also doesnt even include the graded costs for if he gets them graded 10 (unlikely with current state of psa rn) slifer and obilesk can easily sell for over 3.5k and ra can sell for over 2.5k, and some card values he might be stating the graded price also

Your also not realizing he is pricing based on FIRST EDITION and Mint Condition! There is a huge difference between a random foil in someone's binder and a First Edition stored by a collector. It's actually very hard to find these 10+ year old cards in these conditions.

Market price on TCG player (in USD at time of writing) God cards - he was pretty on point at 1500ish. Tempest UTR - $90 (way under 700) Aqua Neos UTR - $19 (way under 200) Wildedge UTR - $135 (way under 500) Shining Flare wingman - on point at $1000 King's knight - $38 Queen's knight UTR - $52 Jack's knight UTR - $42 (Not even 150 out of the 500) Flame wingman TLM - $65 of the 500 I'm gonna stop here. Awesome collection. Just hoping he didn't get ripped off and is just over-flexing the prices.

For some time now I have been teaching my friends how to play Yu-gi-oh the classic old way. Bring it back and we can relive the Golden age of Yu-gi-oh! No more synchros, xyz and especially link and pendulums monsters. You can still use new cards but not the systemic decks that make you play the exact same way every time(how is that even fun?) Bring back making a custom unique deck, different ways to win and most importantly the heart of the cards. I know we all have that memory of drawing the perfect card when you needed it most. It's time to duel!!!!!!!

I loved Yugioh as a kid and stopped playing because my friends stopped at some point. Recently, I got back into the game ('cuz I came across Master Duels) and honestly, my old passion has been rekindled! I already spent like 40 bucks on cards in the last few days, lol. I probably have some beautiful, rare cards somewhere in the house, that I collected over the years. I do remember my parents giving me very nice cards for christmas too, for which they paid quite some money. I hope I can find them again and that they are still in good condition. Also hope to find my main deck again.. Ah, times used to be so good back then, as a child collecting beautiful and rare cards, creating powerful decks, playing with friends. Getting back into the game makes me feel that same feeling I had as a child, and I love it :)

The one card that I love the most is my unlimited (I didn't know 1st editions existed when I was a kid) LOB Exodia the Forbidden One. This was and to this day still is my favorite duel monster (Yes, I have the four limbs in LOB, too).
