Before taking on track, I’d say change front discs and pads are a must. Braided brake lines and racing brake fluid if you can stretch to it. And strip car of any unnecessary weight. Things like rear seats, spare wheel (can take that out at track tbf), floor mats ect. That should give you a good starting point

The best thing you can do first in my opinion for this build is to lose weight and look at Brakes and Tyres. So perhaps strip the car, maybe weight it before and after, New discs and pads and look at a set of wheels and tyres that suit the driving you would like to do. Love the channel Sam, keep it up!

First modification Update/Upgrade the old rubber bushes on the arms and suspension etc. Make it handle and drive nice.

Behind the brake servo is a panel that needs resealing, It's an easy job better to take the servo out and then water will stop coming in. I did my son and changed his servo because the water build-up caused it to rot.

Water inside is commonly the bulkhead Google it there’s tons info on it and if your stripping for race car you’ll be half way to doing the job if it is that leaking anyway 👊🏽

Mate I think you might have installed the wipers upside down, the raised ridge edge should be towards the too of the windshield for wind to push against the wipers and press them onto the glass

The wipers only go on one way, and they are sat flush again the windscreen, so I believe they are on correct
