Thank you guys for doing Bulq because I have been wondering how good it would be to resell on Ebay. Well now I know and I'm going to stay away from Bulq. I understand not all will be a loss but being a new reseller, I wouldn't want to take a chance. Love how informative you guys are and how you keep it real. We enjoy all of your videos! Keep up the good work and stay safe. ❣

This was by far the best and most unbiased liquidation pallet/box unboxing video I've ever seen, and unfortunately what 90% of you will encounter when trying to get into reselling from a .com through a .com And for those hating on the reality of this video and the breakdown...he's not sponsored by Bulq, he is sponsored by Barton's. Do the math... Regardless, this video is great insight to the realities of dabbling in reselling the wrong way. Good info for a beginner to understand what you're actually getting into.

I have bought several lots from BULQ. On new boxes like these anything that isn’t in new condition you will be reimbursed. BULQ customer service is awesome they stand by their new product or make it right for you. In my experience I get reimbursed same day. That customer service keeps me going back.

First off love the videos keep up the good work. I have been doing this for years, BULQ is good if your doing clothes and shoes, as far as these type boxes your best bet is local or FBA. Some stuff will do well on eBay but not many, I hope this can help some of the new people just starting out.

I’ve only bought from bulq a couple times. But I did buy a full pallet of toys once for $500 shipped a only bc it had a dji Mavic drone on it. Turned out it was brand new still factory sealed and made the money back off everything else. Definitely all local sales but hey I got a nice drone out of it lol

What you’re not telling is you get to write off the shipping costs off of your taxes as a business expense. So you’re getting a portion of that money back in tax credits when you file your taxes.

I buy Bulq weekly. I purchased a box from them last week and was quite surprised at how great the products were. I paid $86.35, value $498, average $2.40 each. Trashed nothing, and there are two Lego sets and a doll that are selling well on eBay and I will make right under my $86.35 back on those three sales. I have not listed them yet, but will be sometime this weekend. I also didn't get repeat items, as all items were different.

I buy from Bulq all the time, but you have to go about choosing your purchases differently. You will not be able to quick flip, it will take time to get your money back, boxes with new items always have an item or two that isnt new (contact bulq you will get a couple bucks back) And Follow your own rule: try and stay at 10% for uninspected returns, and go 15-20% for new items. Always do your research before you buy. If you had checked Ebay prices from the items listed on the manifest you would have never even considered buying this box. Like I said, it's a different world out there for online liquidation.

Same issue I found with Wholesale Ninjas, way over priced for their "new" items. Their retail list is a joke. Items they say are $34 item each sold on ebay for $8 - $10. If you do buy from them do research on their listed "retail" price because its total BS.

I buy from BULQ since here in Colorado we have NO liquidators in the whole state. 98% of what BULQ sells is from Target. Note- always download the manifest as it is more accurate than the online listing. Do NOT buy toys unless you only sell them at Nextdoor, yard or flea market sales. Every case for sale in every category they sell are peppered with the exact same items. It reminds me of the snot suckers you get, lol. They also categorize items as general on the manifest and my last toy case was full of last years desk calendars which had nothing to do with toys. I now only buy womens accessories which contains purses, underwear and jewelry. They sell better for me, but I sell using every platform available. Oh and I also have 3 of those Unikitty Lego sets available if anyone wants them, lmao.....

Good honest info but a couple of corrections...the state and federal taxes you would only have to pay for your PROFITS...since it was all kinda cheap stuff you really wouldn't pay any taxes since it's most likely a loss. Also which I know you already know but the matchbox small set would be shipped priority mail padded envelope for $7.15 instead of the $10 you said.

I've done okay with them AFTER learning how they operate. Their MSRP is a joke, I will never even look at it. You have to look up each item and go based on that only. Also 3x a day they upload pallets/cases and they move really fast, whatever is left over is usually not worth it. Item condition sucks a lot of the time unless its brand new like your case and they get a lot of product from Def salvage with stickers you cant remove without damaging the package. It's hard, but with no other choice you can make money with them if you are willing to put in 3x the work you normally would!

Hello! I understand that the kid's dishes sets had a "clearance sale" price on them. But if you look at actual dinner plates or "silverware" prices on eBay, those prices are eye-popping high. So you might see about actual usability of the dish sets -- check microwave safety and so forth. So maybe you should not despair of getting as low a price as the "clearance sale" price.

Great video! I have an awesome place locally that sells pallets of merchandise mostly dot com and Walmart (they get crates full of those $600 metal detectors) but they sell their pallets at set prices usually about 30% of retail value. So it’s a trade off that I’ve never gotten your fantastic 10% of retail but I can see what the merchandise is before I buy it. So I guess that makes up for some of the price difference. They sell out of pallets within an hour usually so they’re doing something right I guess. Thank you for testing these sites so we can decide whether they’re worth it or not, this one most definitely not.

Last year I was gonna get one to try but thankfully I didn't. For me, there no one around here that would buy locally and they would drive to Walmart and get it there. Now, it little different with this outbreak. I still wouldn't want to get it because I don't have the time and the effort. The $30 shipping sounds great but in reality there nothing to be made and too many products out there. I understand people try to do it for living. I remember some of them had requested Clint to get one.. In a way it is an education. Even if you made enough money back that great. No offense but I tend to stick with vintage items. Thanks guys!

Have you setup a business account with a shipping company with special pricing. I use to work for FedEx Office and some companies costs were like half of our employee discount. I would call the different shipping companies and ask for an account manager in your area to meet with in person. You can call and just talk to someone but face to face showing what you do and I bet you can get special pricing.

I used to buy from Bulq, but not so much in the past year. They have raised their prices and just like you found - you don't always get what you bought even though it is manifested. I bought a "new" box of toys that had a Pokemon Go controller with a plush that sells for $165. When I got the box, that item was opened and the plush missing! When I called to complain, the refunded me $7 . . . yes, $7!! Most everything comes from Target. They also love to pad their cases with junk items that are always listed as "general merchandise". I emailed them once asking how 75 of 100 items were general merchandise and not in the photo of the case? I know why, they buried them under everything else. They sent me a canned response that not everything has a bar code and cannot be identified. Bulq does have some good cases, but you have to shop hard and fast. Good boxes sell within 15 minutes of being listed :(

I have been buying from bulq the whole time. It is always Target. You have to compare what you paid "per item". You're complaining about making $5? But you only paid like .90 cents. That's a good profit. You are looking at it all wrong. Then you usually get something that pays for 1/2 your box. I have paid $1.25 and ended up with 3 items that were $50+ retail. I fold for 35.

Thanks for the video. I was on the fence about buying a box or 2 from bulq since they have a warehouse in Washington D.C. which is hour from me so I was going to try and pick it up. Now I don't think I'll take that jump.

OXMAN1979 you might be in good shape saving the shipping costs and buyers fees they charge for online purchase. Id still give it a shot if I were you but only if you have money to risk taking a loss. Buying pallets is a gamble no matter who you buy from.

I have bought several boxes from Bulq and I pretty much lost money on everyone. My products were used and most items I sold I ended up having to return the money and pay shipping back. I would never buy from them again

By breaking your own rule of spending 20% more then you normally do. that why your wife is sitting next to you, so if the profits aren't there she can smack you one:) Keep up the great videos both of you...

kltpep well they made their money back less buyers fees and shipping off that first box. They got 4 more to recoup the rest and turn a profit. I’m excited to see if they do or not.

Why are you paying the shipping? Every time I have bought off ebay, I have paid the shipping.

It looks like there wasn't any that were listing with postage fees, so he has to go buy those sales .. would you choose a listing with "free shipping" over one without ?

I'm still in the beginning stages of starting my own Ebay online selling, have yet to do my due diligence and find out if (while it let's me post) if I can actually complete transactions when something sells. But, have heard you wanna have as many listings as possible so would some of these items benefit u by adding to your listing total? Or is that not at all true?

You are seeing the same results we had with Bulq in fact your box is much better than ours we couldn't sale one item not one. Have never purchased from them again.

Go to flea markets... estate sales... thrift stores... Shoot for a 10X return on what you buy but settle for 2X... that's the only you are going to make money... unless you think your time is only worth 2 cents an hour...

I have bought from Bulq twice. The uninspected returns electronics lot was good. Have a clothing/shoe lot I'm still working on. You dont talk about fed/state taxes in your other videos so it isn't fair to take that off in this one.

Hi Clint. Need to see if you can clarify your tax statement for me. You stated you had to pay 25% in Federal and State Taxes. Your state tax rate is only 7% so where does the other 18% percent go? Also your customers are suppose to pay tax. You should be charging them tax. So you shouldn’t be paying tax. So can you please clarify that for me cause we are lost as to how you are calculating taxes. Thanks.

Amie Cleaver seriously? Hmmm 🤔 let’s see if you have 7% state tax where does the other 18% go? Maybe FEDERAL TAXES.....🤦‍♂️
@michaelriddle2239
@michaelriddle2239 4 жыл бұрын
Amie Cleaver also you still have to pay state and federal taxes on your profits regardless if you charge sales tax or not. Sales tax is not the same as taxes on profits. Please don’t ever start a business you’ll fail almost immediately.

7% is Indiana’s SALES TAX rate at the point of purchase by customers, not the seller

Federal and State on average will take a total cut of 25% of your profit made after fees, taxes, cost of goods sold ect.

You should of actually got your scale to get the actual weight because other people might not understand what your talking about. I'm not putting you down so please don't get mad. This is just honest feedback. Some things you where on point other things I was like what the hell are you talking about.
