Hey I might be able to help. I'm suspicious of a couple of things; there's a chance that the capture card isn't slotted in completely to the PCI-E slot, the cord not being fully connected, or potentially (what I'm most suspicious of) is the sample rate of your Elgato. What you could try and test with a sample recording with your game, is: Right click on Sounds in your system tray bottom right -> go to Recording Devices Right click on your primary device and go to Properties In Advanced Audio, change the sample rate to 48000khz using the 24 bit option if available, otherwise the 16 bit option should be fine Repeat this process on all of your recording devices, and then go to Playback Devices and do the same. If that doesn't fix it, or your recording devices /playback devices are already set this way, I might try reseating the Elgato card next by taking it out of the PCI-E slot and putting it back in, or checking the cables. The other thing to test is that you're not accidentally using a USB 2.0 hub for your Elgato, and that you're using the highest bandwidth USB 3.0 or 3.1 connector, because that would also matter. Run through a couple of those and see how it works, if not I have other ideas.

So, if you're not using a Microsoft or Dell laptop, Windows 11 protocol can and will fight your laptop brand's protocol, as well as Intel's protocol (Intel likely being the manufacturer of your CPU). Intel is the manufacturer of Realtek audio drivers.

Sounds like you're maxing out the OBS audio buffer. You probably just need to disable it completely OR use a hardware solution like a GoXLR to handle your audio routing if you're splitting tracks in OBS.

I had this happen with an Armored Core 6 video on my gaming channel yesterday. OBS has been nothing but trouble for me. BUT, I've learned to always rewatch my videos before uploading to make sure these issues don't go live.

I've had this same problem using obs. Especially when streaming to KZbin, but I've also found issues with recorded videos. Same audio issues and even graphical glitches. when you got the new PC, were the drivers (gpu etc) already pre installed ? or were you supposed to install them yourself (and if so did you do it ?) also check if the capture card requires installing drivers or not. Usually bad drivers issues like can fuck up with a PC in so many different weird ways and that would fit what you've been experiencing, especially the audio stuff that could both be a GPU or capture card issue. ofc windows 11 can be a source of problems too so maybe going back to windows 10 could help solve some of it but it's also likely it has nothing to do with it. i'd also say to double check how many different audio sources and outputs do you have on your pc and to disable the ones that you don't use (for example monitors speakers if you only use headphones or have dedicated speakers), sometimes too many outputs and sources can conflict with each others and mess things. Hopefully that helps a bit 👍

hey truth did you try and rewire the converter cable? this is an overlooked part of the desktop hardware that will fix this problem. it directly connects audio transmission with circuit converter to input on your desktop. If you buy a new wire and connect it to the gpu around the power source you can get better audio quality. The reason you haven’t heard of this is because I made it up

One thing I would recommend is downloading software like PC doctor and CPUZ (or some other equivalent) to verify it isn't a hardware issue. Also, make sure you have all the latest drivers for your hardware (mainly things like your GPU, microphone, capture cards, etc). A windows reinstall may be necessary as a last resort. You can do a soft reinstall by creating a boot drive and "upgrading" to Windows 11 from your desktop, which may fix the issue.

Do what you need to bro, we'll be here for your WWDC stream and such. Youre part of my daily routine at this point over the last year and honestly have helped me get through some shit. It's weird to say that but its true. As for the PC, Maybe try rooting your software and using a different operating system. It takes awhile but sometimes replacing all of the built in software and starting from scratch is the best place to start because you know exactly what is in the PC and where a connection might be missing or a problem flaring up. A lot of bloatware (preinstalled software) built in to the PC may have negative interactions with your recording software. You can try running a diagnostic while doing a test recording and see if any applications are flaring up or suddenly increasing usage.

Find a mom and pop shop computer place near you after backing up your data and get some real nerds to look into it. That's actually what I would recommend over buying prebuilt as well, pick your parts, take it to a well reviewed local place and ask em to piece it together for you.

Hey truth I don't know if you're gonna see this but this is a solution somebody had that was having similar issues. Try changing the Sample Rate & Bit Depth in the Windows Sound control Panel to a lower setting. Windows usually defaults to something like "2 channel, 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)", the frequency being 48000 Hz. Changed mine to 44100 Hz and haven't had an audio issue since.

It's most probably either a windows issue or a driver issue. You can either update the windows to the most recent update (hopefully it works) or you can update the drivers from the geforce experience software, it dishes out regular updates for the graphics card. Try installing a studio driver from the same software I mentioned above and above all else, check if the ports are properly functioning or not. Sometimes it maybe a faulty port which the software captures (obs) and since you don't have monitoring on to hear your voice back, you can't point it out right then and there. Hope this helps.

Something you understand once you get into tech is that you can throw a shit ton of money at your problem but unless you have good enough knowledge of this stuff or at least put the effort into learning, you won't fully fix any issue I'd recommend reinstalling windows (get win 10), if that doesn't work, Get your old system and reinstall windows in that and try again. If that doesn't work as well, try Nanos new method.

Truth, take it from me. DO NOT change to new windows versions until they're either canceling the last version(like how they turned off win 7 some years back,) or until the new has been out for quite some time now. Compatability issues take a LONG time to fix, even for microsoft. I didnt change to win10 until they announced security for win7 being turned off for this reason. It makes a huge deal with games on the pc, or streaming and the likes, since compatability issues will mostly affect those things, or just extended use of a pc in general. EDIT: you may say its driver stuff, sure it can be, but my point is just that new OS means more bugs and such youd not have on something like win10.

I know you said you got a pc, but that doesn't always necessarily mean a new hard drive/ssd. I bet you probably kept those because they had all your videos on them, but that could be the problem. If it's a hard drive, those can eventually fail overtime and start doing funky things to your pc.

It is 100% windows 11. I've had my laptop for a couple years now and on the first day of using it my audio when playing games or joining discord would sound super awful at very random times, I couldn't even recreate the issue. The way I fixed it was to go into control panel and then turning audio enhancements on and that was the only consistent way to fix it. Eventually the audio issues just disappeared after a year or so of windows 11 updates. NEVER had any audio issues on windows 10, only when i switched to windows 11 did this happen. I came to the same conclusion as well that this issue was windows 11 related

I honestly would ask goresh I love his dokkan videos. Although he uses iOS to play; his dokkan videos are always HD and I don’t mean the video resolution but the actual gameplay itself. The colors and animations are very crisp. Just a thought! Idk what could be causing these issues tho. I would try recording via iOS and see if the issues persist? Nano uses iOS as well to my knowledge. Although I know it’s a hassle to buy stones when ur on JP iOS. 😅

Hay datruth, im a computer nerd and I remember your computers specs, if I’m not mistaken you have a 14900K (14th gen i9) and, basically, intel (the company that produces i9’s, i7’s, etc) is under siege because they’re CPU’s (processor’s) are very unstable for various reasons, and they are not doing recalls. At this point it’s too late to return your system, probably, but I would have suggested you got a PC with a AMD Ryzen processor instead

If you transferred all your data over there could be data or compatibility issues. Starting from a fresh windows install could to the trick. Any videos/ super important stuff you can save a on an external drive or online storage. Every thing else like applications/software you’ll just have to redownload/log back in to everything. Last thing is they could have just gave you a bad PC if you didn’t go to a big trusted supplier. Or rarely even new parts are faulty! I have a monster PC I built for about 3k but more expensive is not always better. There can be many unnecessary features you pay phone and don’t utilize or you won’t even notice then “performance” enhancement. Hope this helps!

Unless I'm misunderstanding and the upload itself has the issues while the actual video sounds fine before hand
