I bought in Detroit, a 1968 Cherokee six 260, and owned it for four years. Of all the makes of singles, I chose the six! It’s a great plane, very capable, heavy hauler and has a great useful load. From pompano beach, I flew to the Bahamas three times, to the Smokies and all around Florida. Sold it at height of market and sold for twice what I paid! All I did was maintain it👍🏻. Now I have a 1947 v tail Bonanza. Enjoy it! Get your instrument rating, ASAP

Congrats on the new plane and getting your ppl with such low hours. Took me a lot more that that but it was a combination of me and instructor. Piper 6 is truly a great plane . It took my partner and I 6 months to get our first plane piper warrior pa 28-151. Enjoy!

Are you IFR rated? How long into the night are you allowed to fly when you’re VFR rated?

VFR any time of day or night is allowed (in USA). Weather is the only thing that matters for VFR. There are some rare cases where pilot or medical certificates have certain night limitations but that is very uncommon.

Yea… the world does not just give you when you ask. You have to have money. The average joe does not obtain these things by just asking and applying themselves. Last time I checked, PPL Training and airplanes aren’t free… or cheap for that matter.
