Great choice !! The CS is twice to boat than the Mako is, well worth the extra payments. Should fit 6 pretty comfortably. Congratulations..

Thanks for the comment. The 19LS is a great boat for bays and lakes and even near shore fishing. I've taken my 21LS out many times now and have had no issues with water coming in through the drainage scuppers. Check out my video on the matter. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYDElX1_adF6a7s

I’m looking at the same boat. It seems like a good all around good choice for lake fishing and inshore. I’m leaning towards purchasing new myself, but have never purchased a new boat. What kind of deal should I expect? Or how much do dealers come off a new boat? I am talking to a dealer now and haven’t pushed on price but they seem pretty firm on the asking price which makes no sense. Nice boat!

Dealer negotiations are always a gamble, especially when it comes to buying a boat. A few suggestions would be to talk to more than one dealership so that you can have options. If you're going to finance the boat, it is always better to get preapproved by your bank. At least that way, you'll know your price limit. If Carolina Skiff is your definite choice, then a few questions could help with your negotiations. Inform the dealer that you are weighing your options. Regarding the walk out price, "Is that the best you can do?" "What incentives do they offer to new customers?" "Are there any discount programs/offers?" "Can we test the boat on the water?" Overall, you have to be willing to walk away, regardless of your desire for a boat. And be respectful and friendly, but firm in your search for the best deal.

The LS19 is a great boat. I went with the LS21 because the grandkids are still very young.

I'm touching on that for my next video. Life sort of got in the way since my last video so I haven' t had a chance to take the boat out. But suffice it to say, that the 2022 model comes with rubber plugs for the self bailing ports. But that issue was never a deal breaker for me. Hope that helps.
