You go girl ! ! What a refreshing change to see a young lady willing to get her hands dirty / no lip filler / no camel eyelashes / no Groucho Marx eyebrows / ... My daughter phoned me some time back saying her TPML had come on . She didnt' know how to check tyre pressures 😲 . I told her to tell her b/f to do it . He didn't know either . 🤔 . WTF ? Needless to say , I see him in a completely different light now . When she got home , I gave her a crash course in EVERYTHING . The b/f ? Don't go there ... Get Charlie to check the fan . They were a weak point on some E46's . Had a habit of breaking off / carnage .My boy bought one , it came off and THRU the bonnet on the way home from buying it . Needless to say , he went back to the garage and went batsh*t crazy ..... they paid for ALL repairs . Check the soft top - lube all the bits , just to keep it sweet . Nice cars when looked after properly . I wish you well for your new channel . I think you will be a great success . Everybody starts somewhere . Your big plus is that you CLEARLY want to learn . And the banter is excellent , don't tone it down .

If im honest i did decide to be a mechanic fully qualified recently after 4 years, but sometimes i do think why but once a jobs done the feelings great. When you see something drive off when you see it smoking to begin with, or when an interesting car comes in, like a mk 2 focus st or some sort of fast audi or bmw.also id recomend gloves because it could make a white house all black and youll be waiting a while to fully clean your hands did it in spain always had black hands and black knees and a black face. ive not done much on bms if anything but ive heard there a massive headache so alot of respect for this.

Hey Chloe, I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Great car choice to buy. However as you already knew they are likely going to need a lot of expensive maintenance to keep going on down the road for any significant length of time and/or distances. That being said, I didn't see if you had gotten these or not but I strongly encourage you to replace the spark plug gasket tubes as well if you're already replacing the valve cover gaskets. If not they are absolutely going to leak and supposedly I heard that very bad things can happen if it does leak. So good idea to replace them while you're in there. I think there's a valve adjustment procedure for that car as well so that may be a good thing to check out as well while you're in there and make sure that all the valves are adjusted properly according to factory specifications. I look forward to seeing this car on the road again! Cheers! 🥂 🍻

Was the socket you lost a 10mm one? Renowned for hiding! We had an E46 of about the same age. Cooling system was a nightmare. The header tanks split, plus most of the cooling system connections were push fit - or at least they were when new but were a pig to reconnect them once used. If you get a bulb warning light for the tail lights, good chance it is the earth wire to the tail lights (the earth is badly under specced and burns out over time)

@@rvrebel2209 Like i mentioned in the video, ive got more stuff coming soon to help the car run smoother etc, including all the things you just mentioned but thanks👍🏼👍🏼 Also, lets remember, I know the history and the previous work done on my OWN car, so know that the brake fluid was changed only about 6 months ago now, but again, thanks for the tip👍🏼
@rvrebel22094 ай бұрын
Ok. Well as said. I do wish you Well. The only reason I said about changing brake fluid oil is that very often in garages the pads are changed and a tick is put in for brake fluid oil, as there is no real easy way a customer can check But air and water over time can get into brake fluid as it brakes down over time So I tend to be a bit hot on that as it is the main way of saving your life Wish You Well
