If you put the filter media in a vice and press it, you get the excess oil out of it and spray it with brake cleaner, and you have a very clear look at what’s in the filter

No GMO's? That is pretty much impossible. Orange carrots, GMO's. Banana's, GMO's. Selecting food on their specific properties and grow them, that is already a form of GMO.

Jimmy, I think I mentioned this in another video, but I’ll mention it again. I looked at this airplane (and was very serious about buying it) in around October of 2020. With stuff still brewing at work surrounding covid and whatnot it just was the wrong time to jump into a big awesome plane project. I would’ve loved to polish this thing redo the avionics and get it back in the air regularly. It’s awesome to see that you’ve made that dream a reality for me and I’m sure Clint is happy about it too.

Watching this video I realized why I don't own a plane. Flying commercial is a pain but for $92,000 I can tolerate it. If that's your hobby and you can afford it enjoy. It certainly doesn't hurt anyone.

Jimmy, love the 310. My late father had a '56 310 just like yours. Has the original Continental O-470-M with pressure carbs. Thankfully, parts are still available for the -M engines as they are very reliable. Dad flew all over the US and also to Mexico City (mid 70's), but mostly from NJ to Sebastian, FL every winter. A great airplane. Can't wait for you to finish yours. Tom in NJ

This is eye opening. As a common man, I can only watch you fly. It's always interesting and much cheaper. I can see why in the 80's and 90's our local airport was building hangers and extending the run way. To just a ghost town now.

I wonder about some of his numbers... 1. Does $5000 to get home from CA include repairs/annual to fly it? 2. $27000 in electronics is a fair number but its an improvement/upgrade that might not have been required to spend. It does enhance value. 3. $11000 fuel for flight is just a cost of flying and does not enhance the value of the airplane. Same for hangar expense. Ordinary cost of ownership and arguably preserves value but does not enhance it. For example the plane wont sell for more because he hangared it, put fuel in it or because he flew it home from Ca. Just sayin!!! Still I'd think decent deal and doesnt need to be painted lemon yellow

I was delivering some packages after hours to a small airport in Auburn Indiana on Wednesday June 28th and spent some time talking to a local pilot and mechanic. While shooting the breeze the pilot said see that beautiful bird there "about 30 ft from where I stood" I said ya it's very nice, he says I don't know how it's not in the Smithsonian because your looking at Citation jet number one. I forgot the tail number but I will be that way again soon and I'll reply to this comment. Had to share thought that was so cool to see.

I'm not claiming it is the jet, the guy I talked to just seemed honest and had alot to say about it. Very nice for sure! To someone who knows basically nothing about these things, it looks like the luxurious sports car of the jet world. This has nothing to do with the jet but the same guy that owns sweetwater owns that little airport in Auburn also the old Smith field off Ludwig road in Fort Wayne. Sweetaviation I believe is what there called.

In retrospect of my life I have found that it is better to buy a resto project that someone else has paid for, because when they sell it they're taking a bath on it. It's always funny to watch resto projects and see the comments about how "I would have or You Should Have". Until they were the ones paying the bills, then those items aren't as important then.

You can't do an honest test on airline food while you are on the ground. Physically, your sense of taste and smell change at lower air ptessure. IIRC an airline cabin is pressurized to match a 10,000 foot altitude? And much drier air. So the meal companies actually change their recipes, to compensate for this. They are actually NOT intended to be eaten on the ground. FWIW.
