chaseontwowheels, there's a thing that you can attach to the set up, it has a controller that acts like a sensor which makes the camera follow you(it rotates left and right). You should definitely get that.🔥🔥🔥🔥

Just because you are motovlogger does not mean you cannot play with the cameras and bring a couple of different things together. I think it is pretty cool you take the photography to heart and produce some great products from it. I think it gives us a better product and helps some out that may not be into cameras as much and not do as well of a job filming the different things. Pretty cool to see how some shots are captured.

awesome review! Thanks a lot - I was searching for a review exactly like that which just shows the steps of mounting, how to release the magnets and how footage turns out without a gimbal. I´m super excited right now to get my Cloudmount and use it with a gimbal! Thanks a lot and keep it up!

Glad you finally got something like that. I always am interested in seeing your actual body position when you're riding certain bikes, especially if it's a bike I'd consider buying. Now I kind of wish you go back and do new videos of some of the bikes you've already reviewed, like the Hypermotard, the Monster 1200 and the XSR900

Nice. I think the problem with that particular angle is that it’s pretty easy to recreate with someone holding a camera on a gimbal. But it does have some great potential. Low on a door panel, on the hood but facing the driver if you do some in car shots, on the roof facing back and on the hood facing forward.
@oioisharpy7 жыл бұрын
A gimble would be so cool to use! My only thoughts on it would be that if you use it on the bonnet of the vehicle, will it be able to compensate for the micro adjustments of the engine vibrations? Would deffo be better on either the roof/side panel, I would assume anyway

Hi Chase, you know you could fabricate up a simple sighting system, for example, coat hanger wire aligned with the same axis of the center of lens, with an outer wire box behind it, so with a quick glance over, you, the moto driver could see the center of the lens at all times. Keep it small scale and simple mounted directly above the camera. That way you could eliminate the inside monitor, and keep heather and the car safer, so she is not distracted by looking for that framing shot.! You could add little reference points fore and aft to say, see when you are at the back half of the frame or the front half etc. I think everyday people take those kinds of things for granted because they dont produce good video content. Thats a cool shot.! then, have a stunt guy dress up in your outfits and do stoppies and wheelies and stuff, that would be awesome! then the slow mo shots of the front suspension working. Good stuff!

Chase if you are going to be using that mount on a frequent basis and have a spare sena headset you could set up a headset for the vehicle driver. That way you will be in constant communication with the driver to get that perfect shot. This is not my idea I seen it on Revzilla at one point in time.

@angleofattak6 жыл бұрын
Not sure if this was mentioned, admittedly too lazy to scan comments, removing one cable from each side would help since that rig is meant for more heavy cameras. The 8 cables make it a little stiff for small cameras so removing half will allow for more absorption. Make sure to use 8 though with a gimbal.

Cool video and looking forward to first rides with the new angle you can achieve now. May need to hire a driver, can't imagine the Mrs. will be on call too often! Just a thought, a thin cloth or something between the vehicle and those magnets might be a good idea. Going to make a mess of that paint in a short amount of time...

Good video. The footage from the camera looks good. Also, I really dig the hat you were wearing in the first part. Granted I'm not a fan of wearing baseball style caps backwards unless you're outside playing a sport in the sun and don't want neck burn. Sorry, I digress. The magnet mount thingy was overall very cool. I'm not into cameras, but I know cool. At least I think I do. :)

its an awesome idea but maybe its best to have it angled at your tires and such for those kind of angle shots. If you use the mount or basic shots then might as well just hold your camera at the window. There should also be mounts for go pros to stick outside your car as well which I've seen alot of.

That is really awesome! I see this being awesome for the 1st ride reveal of the Monster. You totally need to get a company to sponsor you for a gimble though. I think that will eliminate most of the shake and vibration. #c2warmy

Get out of my head J! For real though, this is why I went ahead and bit the bullet on this purchase. I wanted to go ahead and have it for a few weeks to practice with it before I was ready to shoot the monster video. I'm hoping that vid turns out as awesome as it is in my head!

You can also use 1 cable on each side for a load this light. That would eliminate the vibration. The double cables on each side would be for a light gimbal.

putting a light towel or bed sheet under the magnets would really reduce the risk of scratching vehicles when you take that off.
