I had one for a little over a year and it is by far the best looking bike - Panigale line-up - by far of many bikes. I just could not do the heat. Even with that AM heatshield. Still a great bike.

I am new to Ducati, always straight 4 japs before, and I have the 821 myself, what can I say, you kind of nailed it. The gearbox is rough, the clutch is not a friend of mine, and it toast your legs, but all worth it. As a city bike it's a pain, getting hot, and now your legs will be well done. One thing that you missed, the mountain roads, it's marvellous, all you need is to keep her over 5k rpm. You will salute the bike after your first serpentine bends. And the breaks, ohhhhhh erotic stuff. As an Italian lady, she likes to be pampered, warm up, check the oil, and you will have a new love of your life.

Remember the first time I rode my 86 FJ1200 the red and white original model after the 1100. Had always owned trail bikes and mini bikes previously . That acceleration was mind altering . Would love to own another newer model , maybe a 2008😊

I am not looking for a touring machine, touring machines are for the big boys but 40 to 80 in 3:15? Definitely for the big boys. They have earned the right to ??? "... Lean her over and give her some,,," ??? Okay, if you say so.

I’ve been considering purchasing one for mostly commuting 40miles each way with 30 being highway (70mph). Unfortunately, I may need to find a leftover ‘24 as Yamaha doesn’t seem to be offering it in ‘25 😢 Whatever I get needs to have shaft drive and cruise control

Put more pre load on the rear (set to rider and pillion) to steepen the fork rake and that thing will turn and be rock solid.

@chaseontwowheels, mountain house meals are great for camping, lot of good ones to eat, however, when you go camping, put your food in a dry bag and hang it up from a high tree limb especially in bear territory or you could get mauled if you store it in your tent with. also yes inside your tent if you dont have good ventillation it will have lots of condensation, especially in the mornings just from you breathing at night. that is normal. I have been camping since I was a little child and I am in my 50's and I go camp when I am free from work. it has been lots of fun watching you for the first time camping in the backyard. also thats a great way to check out gear see what works and what doesn't anyway thats all I wanted to say, I am Redfox with RedfoxOutdoors all there is to do now is get out and enjoy nature!! have a great one!

I've yet to go "Moto Camping" I set everything up to do it and my bike had a fit and would not start. I eneded up taking the car unfortunately.. This was my first experience as well. For me the temperature was about the same however I was not as prepared as you. I Definitely learned to prepare better for next time. I think the biggest thing Ingot was WOW the creation of God all at play at night. Everything from the stars, the owls sounds, the boars i heard at a distance and im pretty sure there were some racoons trying to sniff me out lol. It was amazin,g, and i cant wait to guve it another shot God willing in my motorcycle this time!

I am ok to pay for the time they spend with doing the update. But not specificly for update as a part of the process. However in my country (Czechia, Europe), we havee software updates for free. At least in my local dealership.

So I see a ton of people praising quad locks but what I don’t see is people talking about the case for phones itself. How safe do they keep your phone if say you are dumb like me and constantly are dropping the phone face down on concrete? 😅 is it like an otter box case and actually protects the phone relatively well?
