I recommend using thread chasers over taps for cleaning threads. They even lightly burnish them threads rather than cutting.

In 25 years of fixing i might have swapped rotors on 2 Japanese bikes. Probably 20 on Harley Davidsons. I appreciate their strategy for ensuring the service department always has work 😂😂

If you sit low in the design, realise the bike that you're on MUST skid and slide. If it doesn't, the bike is terrible at turning.

Is this your first foray into owing a Harley? I've got a 750 Spirit and a Fury but I'm wanting to add to the stable. I've got my eye on a hard tail but it has a Revtech instead of an Evo. Don't know shit about Revtech. Any experience with those?

Your front tire is on backwards. Also, realise you have a mid mounted engine design. When you have a mid mounted engine design, the engine weight turns the bike when you brake. Stop yourself! Look at your bike. Notice where the engine is mounted in the wheelbase. Understand the engineering and ride accordingly 😌

Front tire is mounted the right way for the Bridgestone battlax bt46 They have Inverted V shaped front pattern. 👍

The only way to stop a single rotor from warping is to add a caliper & rotor on the other side! Too much torque on the whole front end. Especially extended front ends!
