The original painting is of Samantha Houston, a 4 year old girl who's father never returned from war. There's one in a hotel as well, because a girl who looked similar to Samantha fell down the stairs while playing and died of a brain bleed. The weird vibes could have been a spirit attached to it, or just it's dark history.

her real name is Samantha Houston (4 years old). I have the same painting. It was made by Charles Trevor Garland, the little girl was painted as a tribute to a young girl he saw holding a letter to her father who never came home from war. The painting was soon bought by Diskill Hotel in Texas as a memorial for a young girl who looked very similar to Samantha that fell down the stairs of the hotel while playing and died. When it was hung in the hotel residents reported feeling very nauseous and dizzy while passing it and felt as if the young girl was watching them. The original title of the painting is called “the love letter”

That is Samantha she is 4 years old her dad worked at the Diskill hotel. somebody was talking care of her. The lady talking care of her stepped away for a little bit while Samantha was playing with her ball by the stairs. But the stairs were really steep so when Samantha went down to go get her ball she fell and her head got cut. Her care taker heard her and ran to see if she was okay. That night Samantha was going to bed and when she when she fell asleep she had died in her bed. She is said to still haunt the Diskill hotel Hope I helped thank you for reading ❤

But she is a very nice sprite she was from the 1800 I believe and was a very beautiful young maiden that was murdered in the forest of were I lived by a random man. That is a replica of a painting in the Driskill Hotel. The painting is of a young girl called Samantha who passed when she was four in 1887. One day Samantha was playing with a ball near the main staircase in the lobby, she soon fell on the marble stairs and her head started bleeding, no one thought much of it so they cleared up the blood and got her ready for bed. For the rest of the evening, she had an intense headache. Later that night she sadly passed away due to a brain bleed because of her fall earlier on. May you rest in peace Samantha❤️

that is in fact a haunted painting! it was at hotel driskill (i think is the name) and a 4 year old girl which is the girl in the painting, was playing with bouncy balls and one went down the stairs, as she was following she tripped and tumbled down the stairs and cracked her skull open. its a very sad story but was surprised when you came across it! and when you said you heard the name hannah i got chills, because that was her name. i have advice, do not but any sort of ball near the painting or around her spirit because of her traumatic experience. love you ❤
