Can’t go wrong for a 100 bucks. I’d sell the parts you don’t need and turn it into a cafe bike. Probably cost to much to get all original parts it needs

It’s all the little parts that nickel and dime you when going back original. Not sure what we are gonna do. Thanks for watching.

Try to repair and reinstate it to a collectible original. I like what Brickhouse did with his CB750, although you've got a longer road to travel.

I like what BJ did with “Pati” I would prefer to keep it original. Just need to put pen to paper and make sure the math works. Thanks for watching. 🙏

Nice video Eric, what a cool deal how could you pass that up?? I always seemed to find (or they find me) the "ugly duckling" stuff too, know anymore about the story behind that seat and tank setup? Nice the got reunited. I's say throw it back together and see what you think then. I do think those older 750 triple tree upper clamp are a bit harder to find 👍👍
@motorcyclerewind
@motorcyclerewind Жыл бұрын
Just the front end alone is going to cost. Needs new fork tubes and upper triple tree. Once we head down this road it may be easier/cheaper to buy a parts bike.

The underside of the 650 seat was interesting. Probably is home made . I have done a lot of fiberglass, it is way easier to make a direct copy of the original than to start from scratch. From the brief glimpse we got , it looks like it was coppied from a rusty original and the rust is still stuck to it.

Label it and store it, either the other parts will come or someone else will be looking for these. The hardest thing with these bikes is getting the four original pipes.

That’s right. Waiting for a little break so I can put the engine back together. I’ve found that’s the best place to store engine parts. Takes up less space. 😂

Still here. It’s the first thing I see when I walk into the shop. Need to build a bracket for the gauges, bleed the brakes and buff and polish the clear coat. Then it can move to someone else’s house. Should be back on the channel next week.

That's a score. You could get over 100 for just the carbs...although without bowls and floats, maybe more like 50. That seat and cowl are hideous. The jester style leather triangles that come off the back of the seat are hilarious. For 12 dollars you can get a whole new ignition switch with 2 keys.
@motorcyclerewind
@motorcyclerewind Жыл бұрын
Dave thanks for watching really appreciate it! The 12 dollars is just for the key using the code from the ignition. Here is a sample link www.ebay.com/itm/121491833045. I just type in honda motorcycle key and the code. You probably could get a whole new ignition with two keys for pretty cheap. The good thing about the code is it works with the other locks on the bike.
