Very useful info Still i would choose to make tiny house project on a lot instead of renovating I would add some more wood details in and out to be like Hidden Zen Garden with private own grown Coffee shop But still i like the french side as to be more lux oriented with better beaches This island lack of green trees like banana and coconut farming very easy to grow probably the tap water is expensive ?

Fabulous job! You’re so fortunate to live in Cupecoy. I used to live off of Jordan road. Congratulations on your beautiful place.

Hi thank you for the video as a couple who are interested in Island properties are you renting to tourists or to a local and how much rent can you get for the studio apartment? Were there a lot of permits and a lot of bureaucracy to buy and do the renovation?

Hi Mario! Absolutely loved the video of the transformation! I've been there in the last few months, and thought, "hmmn, maybe I can buy a house here, but I wouldn't know where exactly to start". If you were me, what are the first 5 things you would do to find a good deal on the Island? Thanks so much!

Thanks for the comment, I would start searching everywhere from cupecoy to simpson bay (maho & point pirouette included). Check a couple of sites ireteam.com, sunshine properties, remax island properties and buy sell trade sxm group on facebook. Also it would be best if you came here. If you need any more help let me know.

Pretty amazing renovation I’m happy that you made your switch to live on the island I am going back for my third visit this year with an intention to move there next year I was wondering if you had any suggestions or sides to look at on how an American can move to Saint Martin with out any resident issues

Maria Sinai Hi 👋, I just got back from Sit Maarten & Saint Barth and Anguilla. Best way to do it it’s to open a corporation & that’s going to cost you $2500 only and that would give you residency automatically.

@@blueeye490 Hi! when you say "open a corporation" what exactly do you mean? Thanks!
@marionewk4 жыл бұрын
As a US citizen you can stay 6 months on a tourist visa then just make a quick 1 day trip to anguilla/st.barth and come back. Also you can open the corporation and get a residency permit that way. Best of luck !

good job Mario! Great job. Are you still living in the apartment? After renovation how much did you house value increased from $165K?
@marionewk5 жыл бұрын
Original value was $275k so I am guessing its worth $450k now.
