Everything you say is right. I own one of those. They were used by the municipality to do winterwork on the pavement. The rear PTO is translated to 540rpm. There were some machined, fabricated from Sperber, for example a salt shaker (if that´s the right translation...). Very interesting, you investigated that thing, that locks the hydraulic levers. I completely restored mine, and changed the metal front plate to the plastic one and used road legal lamps from a motorcycle. I hope I can get "TÜV" on the vehicle. The stamped serialnumber was (I think it´s not anymore, but I´m not sure) necessary to get legal documents for the vehice and a number plate. Prices for those little JDs like the 140 and up to the 318 are pretty high here in Germany. Maybe those tractors were only soled in france and germany. There are some 112s, which JD serial badge says "made in france", as well. But it could also be, that there were shipped in parts, to save taxes, back in the days, who knows. Attachments like the 33 tiller are really hard to find here in germany.

Muss ein 140 zugelassen werden? Ich dachte den kann man mit einem 6 Km/h Schild fahren. Weißt du da was?

@@Jenmar12345 er geht ja 10,9kmh - laut tractordata. Im Video siehst du ja, dass der Zugelassen war. Die ganzen Teile wurden extra für Deutschland, evtl. Europa angefertigt. Wie sehr sich die Polizei nun aufregt, wenn du mit dem Teil durch die Gegend kurvst, hängt wahrscheinlich arg vom Sheriff ab, den du erwischst. Aber gefühlt wird ja jeder s***** zur Anzeige gebracht. Einen KFZ Brief habe ich für meinen auch keinen, die Dinger wurden wahrscheinlich in den späten 80ern von den Kommunen ausgemustert und meistens von Privatleuten gekauft, die die Briefe verschlampt haben, weil sie damit nur ihr Grundstück gepflegt haben.
