Hi Eric, can u turn on the F40 motor with water hose and then rev it up??? Is your motor got some smoke from the prop exhaust when u rev it up... Pls try it bro... Because mine got some stink smoke, when i rev it up with water hose. I wander is F40 burning some oil, or the motor just richen the gas mix when i rev it up??? Mine only has couple hours, and i do the break in like Manual says... Thx in advance...

With that huge rooster tail it’s making next to the motor, you can tell it doesn’t have a Garmin spray shield on the transducer. Get that fix or you could find a bunch of saltwater under that cowling.

jacqueline uh oh lol. Well glad you still have your channel. I enjoy your videos. I’ve learned how to fix some issues on my own motors and didn’t have to end up paying a over priced shop to do it. So thank! Wish we was closer! I need a outboard for a little skiff I just picked up and I have 2 outboards I need to sale. If you are ever near NC and interested in a Suzuki 25hp tiller (1997) looks and runs like new and I have a 75hp Johnson with all controls. Will let them go cheap! Or trade 1 or the other for a 15 to 20hp 4stroke tiller with boot!
