Here's my thoughts. This is coming from experience and things I have witnessed. I actually love that this calendar exists. When I was little, we didn't have a lot of money, and I wanted, more than anything, a Jem doll. Those dolls, in the 80s, were around $40. My Dad did the best he could and found a similar doll. Even as a kid I knew it was the REAL Jem, but I was so grateful for this doll. I was lucky enough to still have the imagination to play with this doll as if she was Jem, and she brought me so much joy. Now, as an adult... I am a Universal Studios passholder. I'm there, at minimum, once a month. One thing I see a lot is people spending every dime just to get into the place. I see kids, and teens, wearing their Amazon $20 Hogwarts robes. I can tell you, people judge. They point. The laugh. All the while, these kids walk into Diagon Alley for the first time, and possibly the only time, and cry with happiness. It's always so beautiful to me. This advent calendar is for kids like I was, and for kids like them. That so desperately want Wizarding World in their life, but simply can't afford it. There is a kid somewhere that is going to receive this calendar, and cry with excitement. Is it cheesy? Yes. But to someone, somewhere, this is the greatest gift!

“Why do they all have scars?!” My headcanon that I thought up after a drink or two: lightning scars are a physical thing that marks all mages in the Fantasy Mage universe. It’s how you tell them apart from normal humans. Volde-not was the only wizard in history to not be born with a scar, which he thought made him better than humans and mages, and he tried to take over the world.

I’m fascinated by the story behind these figures now. So far I got that Harco Palfoy is a sneaky half blood sorted into Serpent house that plays the broom sport, clearly tries to disguise himself as a red-headed Lion house student in a scheme. The girl who lived Herry Grotter clearly sees through that one and has to seek help from He Who Must Not Be Blamed, an angry monk to help rid her school of evil V’Gonagall 😂😂😂

For anyone that is interested to know, the art design that they used on this box (ex: Fake-o Malfoy, etc) are actual officially licensed toys. They're called Q Posket by Banpresto. (These are their Harry Potter character moulds.) It's quite upsetting since Q Poskets are actually very popular and great quality figures. ;;

I giggled so much at this one. All I could think when the extra lightening bolt people started showing up is when the group came to rescue Harry when he turned 17 and the protection spell broke. Every one was changing into Harry at different speeds and they maintained some of their own body as they morphed. Great fun this calendar was for the price. So much better than the Disney one

It's great! Lots of Weasley siblings!! One of the Voldeys can be Querril, Goth Luna or Cho, Sirius, young Remus, young James, the one Ginny could be Lily! Great for more characters, Marauders, fan fic new characters. Honestly, a little cheap acrylic paint will change the hair colours, erase the scars, or make some of the simpler outfits Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw!!! Brilliant set actually! It's great such a nice wizard toy set is that nicely done at £14! Honestly, super perfect authentic toys are more for adults. Let someone enjoy without spending a food shop's worth on a toy. Hogwarts has more than 3 pupils! Thanks for the video Cherry! ❤

You can use a q-tip and acetone to remove the paint areas that are inaccurate and paint the details that are missing and walla, you'll have accurate replica's.
