FUN FACT: This was the first all black football shirt in English football due to it previously clashing with referees… Of course we were treated to those delightful “teal coloured” ref shirts after the launch of the Premier League 😁👍🏾

I love your channel! I was born in 88 and I love 90’s football. You and me are on the same wave length football wise! I had the Merlin albums! Completed the 98 edition. Ian Marshall of Leicester was the last sticker I needed and got him after a long hard search 😂. I’m a Liverpool fan btw 🤣

Love the review! I'm a bit too young to remember us playing in that kit and growing up it never really appealed to me, but seeing it a bit more in depth in your review and your fun fact has helped it raise in my estimation. Thinking about copping a 98/99 home shirt from the gate, a season of pure glory being the first English treble. Would love to see if you have that one or if you would grab it yourself from the gate a review would be class.

Another great comparison video mate. I’m also 34 but live in London and I’m a United supporter! I live about 5 minutes away from Arsenal’s Emirate Stadium. When I was a kid, my dad would take me to Highbury to watch the United-Arsenal games in the mid 90s! Was there when the infamous Wright and Schmeichel tackle! Was thinking off picking a few off these replicas from that website. Might go for the 1992/1994 Green and Yellow shirt.

The green & yellow is iconic, plus you’ll show your support for GLAZERS OUT 😁 oh fair play. Arsenal have always been my least favourite team (more than Liverpool) because of how much they scarred me as a kid… 🤣 I absolutely hate with a passion Martin Keown to this day… pizza gate will never leave me 🍕

"Little details" like the more modern man united crest on that tag (they removed "football club" on the badge around 98/99 I think. And the trademark 'R' on 'Umbro' is between the R and O letters also on the shirt as well as the tag!

I live in London and would recommend your friend visit Camden market for those Man United shirts. There are a few shops near Camden Lock bridge which sells all fake stuff. There is also sometimes a market stall guy who sells all current premier league clubs and La Liga shirts for very good prices. Also there are many Sports Direct stores which sell genuine fan version shirts and those stores are everywhere. Let me know if you’d like any more recommendations on places in London as I know pretty much everything

I've ordered the Man Utd away kit 23/24. Twice. 1st seller, the premier league badge was printed wrong on the sleeve. 2nd seller, printed correct. I had both of them printed with my name and number and they both started peeling. 2nd seller quality wasn't as good. The badges plastic material was different, the 1st sellers material felt really good. 2nd seller collar scratched my neck. Also the name and number was super shiny material, looked fake. So what I have learnt from is find a really good seller and do not buy extra's onto the shirts. Names and numbers on the back will come off (I had a custom one so maybe its just custom only). Including premier league badges, etc. So I need to find a 3rd one. A good seller, no extra printed on.

Have the same jersey with Cantona on the back. The Umbro logo looks wonky on mine as well but enjoy wearing it. Much better option than wearing a 30yr old jersey into the ground.

Love the channel but if you're going to be serious about it, I recommend doing a bit more research on the real shirts before praising the fake shirts as the UMBRO logo is way off and the Sharp Viewcam sponsor is very bold compared to the original shirts of the day. Don't mean to judge, just want people to be armed with the facts before parting ways with their hard earned.

Appreciate the feedback mate 😊 I think to us who aren’t serious shirt collectors it’s very hard to spot the difference. DH Gate is more for your everyday fan who just wants a cheap shirt to knock about in. I’ve tried on the official version of that shirt at Classic Football Shirts and it was lovely, but bought the red lace up home instead 😊
