Clothes were made so much better in the 70s! They were creative, had shape, textures, darts! And so much more tailored! Now clothes are mostly just cheaply thrown together bags…made to be disposable. I love so many of the dresses in that box. 💕🐝🌷

I remember dresses like This , my mother wore them. Polyester was new and scratchy so it was usually worn at night for going out while in the day you wore cotton. or you wore it in winter over a blouse or a turtle neck sweater. The last dress is incredible! I believe style is beyond trends, but it is cool to see a piece that has all the popular trends in one in such a unique way that will be beautiful in 40 years. Things to consider are that oversized puff sleeves, cottage ware style, and the color brown are incredibly hot right now! You look so good, and could easily resell this in the future, but this belongs in an archive!

I owned 2 dresses in the 70s. The tops were gorgeous then, sheer cotton gauze in beautiful pastel prints. That’s what I liked, and wore. Of course, I had small kids and didn’t work except non-stop at home, so no need for dresses.

Oh my golly!! This is like stepping back into my youth!! I loved that first red dress with the beautiful bell sleeves on you!! I also thought the floral dress that you belted with the beret looked amazing on you as well! The orange jumper with the striped sleeves and turtleneck is a no go for me. Kind of Austin Powers vibe that I can't do. That brown dress though!!!! Perfect on you!!!
