I Bought a Miller Big 40 welder!

Helpful video. Found one of these on marketplace for $1k with leads but wasn’t familiar with the machine at all. I may have to go take a look at it for that price. No side panels but is mounted on a small trailer for a SXS or four wheeler. Listing says it is in good working condition. Thanks again.

Ive got a 1978 with the continental 4 cyl. If it sets for a while the idle circuit can stick. Vaccum control on the intake gets gummy i guess. Adjusting a little usually gets it working.

I tried that aswell i think the solenoid is bad i applied 12v off a battery too it and nothing.

Its a gem and its big enough to use air arc rods!

Its starts easy but burns and slobbers oil. And the auto idle isnt working so i set it with the governor to the proper ocv and were gonna run it that way for now

Nice. Not too bad with a trailer. I just picked one up with 2500 hours for 1500 usd. Came with 180 or so feet of 2/0 lead. Came with a second machine for parts.
