@@marepreneur Yes, only one, but big. IMS failed at 20k km. Engine replaced under warranty. Nothing has gone wrong in the last 19 years.

Had mine 15 years its amazing,just don't rev till engine fully warm to avoid bore score

Welcome to the club! Phenomenal scenery. Those roads are a dream. Pretty rare to find a C4S with no sunroof. Looks great!

Thank you so much! Happy to be a 996 C4s owner! Is really a masterpiece of a car to me! I'm wondering if that's a good or bad thing not having a sunroof 😄 Even tho I don't care too much, because I like it anyway without, but maybe if you re-sell it to a C4S expert, maybe they will rate the car less... What do you think? Yes, indeed, the roads on the Swiss mountains are just magic! So happy to live here and be able to be there whenever I want! 🙌

Happy to see people from Scotland is watching the video! :-) I was considering a 997 with the PDK too, but as soon as I got the notification for this car I went for it, also because I was missing a manual car to enjoy on mountain passes like in the video. The next Porsche will e for sure PDK and a more recent one! Let's see! 🙌

Thanks for sharing. I have been to see one at Porsche in Zurich. I’m on the fence between this and later 997.2 without the potential IMS issue. Id love to know a little more about your experience buying this car in Switzerland.

What's the loop in Andermatt if I might ask you? Never heard of it :-) Thank you very much! If you're from Switzerland and you want to drive sometimes together on the passes, I'm for it! 🙂

@@marepreneur hi Mate, the British have this term for driving a loop of the passes (furka, grimsel, nufenen, susten...) whilst staining in a hotel in Andermatt. Looks like I read to many British forums ;-) I am planning a trip to the alps for next week, but all depending on the wheather. It's quite a trip for me coming from norther Germany. I would do the Swiss passes most likely on Wednesday. Ciao, Fred

Very nice car really. I’ve got one with the same colour as Cabrio but with Sport exhaust, X51 and the beautiful SPort seats……a dream and I’m also in Switzerland! Maybe a video together ? It could be a nice video for the audience ….let me know 😊
