Brett used to wash windows and was a gofor when he started out working for Paul and Debi. I bought my 2001 from Brett. What they didn’t tell you about the Diner. Debi went to NYC on her own with $10,000. cash in her purse. She got lost in the bad neighborhood by herself when she was looking for that Diner to purchase. She eventually made the deal, and the whole Diner was shipped back to SEHD and set in the old service area. I used to be able to have breakfast and watch them service the bikes from the Diner booth. Great history and memories from SEHD and the Meyers family.

Loved the history of the place, some times you get to run across the right guy. He was not even attempting to sell you anything. Great video.

My thoughts exactly! I could have talked to him for another hour if they weren't gonna close in 15 minutes. 😂 Thanks for watching 🙏🏾

That is my dad!! He’s been riding motorcycles since he was 11 and has been at South East for over 20 years. Thank you so much for featuring one of the few remaining family owned dealerships. We appreciate you stopping by and visiting!! Edit to add: these comments showing my dad so much love are making me cry.

Yeah... I was totally not expecting his "quick story" tour. 😂 I would have loved to talk more, but they were closing in 15 minutes. There is always next time.

I actually wanted to hear the long version of the story after he finished. Unfortunately, I needed the extra time to sign my documentation for my new bike. 😆

Likewise! Yes, all of the new colors look great in person. I was not expecting that green to look so good.

That place looks like an HD Museum, and the guy could tell you the history of HD and the shop in that area!

I bought all 4 of my new Ultras from SEHD. I was friends with the late owner Paul, and his daughter Debi Meyers.

Awesome! I would have loved to have met Mr. Meyers and let him talk for as long as he was willing to talk. Thanks for watching!

@@BuildRideRepeat When he was alive up into his 80’s, he was always sitting in the showroom almost every time anyone walked in. He would great you by name and a handshake and talk about anything motorcycle related. He used to ride his Harley to work everyday until the last year or so of his life. He was a good man.

At $20, this was actually one of my cheapest dealership visits because I didn't buy the "traditional" $35 for a T-shirt. 😂🤣 Thanks for the sub!
