@corey22325 жыл бұрын
When I worked there, I knew how annoying it was and made sure my store only put them on the outside of the case on the plastic cover. Also, I had everyone just slide the spine sticker under the plastic, never removing the sticker part from the paper backing. That way no adhesive would touch any of the insert, allowing buyers to just slide it out. Too bad many other stores just didn't care, and also thought of its labels as free advertising. When you or anyone buys that game in the future, they'll always see that damn Gamestop label.

Now there's way too many repros, people aren't willing to let you take them apart to check authenticity and still want outrageous prices. The retro market in general has just completely gotten out of hand. And game companies are letting them, they're not putting new versions out so that the market doesn't get so inflated.

Absolutely, definitely one of the best games that has been almost entirely overlooked by the majority of people. The story was amazing, with decent plot and super fun levels + gameplay. The multiplayer was always a blast, and the fact you could make your own modes was so awesome. Definitely one of my personal favorite games. That's not to say it doesn't have its fair share of glitches, they are in fact everywhere. @@corey2232 Combat was the main reason why I preferred BKO. Whereas the first game was more focused on micromanaging your decks, BKO's combat was more balanced between managing your deck and having to use skill during combat. Metal arms is one of the best and most under rated games I have ever played in my life. My god I had to have put 300 hours into that game growing up.

I bet your kids will love playing these Gamecube games when they're a little older. Especially if you introduce them to older consoles first, because you know, kids start becoming all about the graphics and argue about it with each other as they get older 😊. Great family games and kid friendly games, and multiplayer games that were meant to be played with each other as a bonding experience. Just a little teaching of how to take care of the games and system carefully probably shouldn't get them destroyed too bad 😂

We had a 2nd & Charles. I would use my teacher discount to get 20% off a ton of retro games for a solid 4 years. Notable ones included Popful Mail, Shining Force CD, Duck Tales 2, Harvest Moon SNES, and Guardian Heroes.

Tony Hawk American Wasteland is a fantastic game lol. I used to run around and just hit people with my skateboard for the fun of it.

Baten Kaitos is incredible. Such a good story. I believe there's was another one on the gamecube that was a prequel as well. Both games were amazing

I loved how Eternal Darkness would troll you when your sanity got low... I want to talk about the rage and shock that it caused, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise.

I had a factory sealed PS2 Greatest Hits of NFSU2 that I bought just to have as my playable copy even though my standard copy is still in immaculate shape.

I love how you were able to get such a good condition American Wasteland, because my Xbox copy that I have in my collection is in awful condition. I have not seen a good condition box for that game on Xbox.

Cell damage looks like a lot of fun. I've always wanted to play skies of Arcadia but never got a chance to play it when I had my gamecube. I remember renting eternal darkness, metal arms glitch in the system and baten kantos as a kid and I wish I could play them again.

Had I known how valuable Gamecube games would be, I'd never have opened any of them. Even opened, I was surprised to learn how much some of my games are worth.

Baten Kaitos is a MonolithSoft game! I didn't play it until this year (right before they announced the HD remaster too) but man I enjoyed it a ton. But I also love card building RPGs like Chain of Memories so Baten Kaitos was my jam.
