That says volumes about you that you explain to the younger people that your farming operation isn’t totally funding your equipment purchases. Social media makes it look like it’s easy to get new equipment, and if you aren’t driving newer equipment then you’re not successful. every operation is different, and has to be tailored to the individuals finances.. amount of ground, outside income, rent vs owned, etc.. there’s a lot of variables. It’s probably a lot harder to get started today than it was 41 years ago when I started. I already liked your channel, but I like it even more knowing how you are so up front, and how you clarify your business. Great channel!

Amen to that. We're just getting rolling on our farm rebuilding fertility on land we bought following a flood. Thus far, farming is the process of spending money from my day job to hopefully get returns five, ten years hence. The local JD dealer did give me a hat and some free coffee in a styrofoam cup though.

Having owned one of those you will want to have the cooling fan drive checked, and make sure you grease the front C.V. joints by removing the plugs and installing a zerk . also use caution changing the tires. The front and rear are matched by the diameter with I believe gear in the transmission. I would ask Deeres service department before doing it. Again, the best of luck to you.

Make sure the intake filter in the roof for the fans is clean there a lot louder if there not clean. If you ever start getting water dripping out of the roof or vents to with ac it’s the drain lines coming down from the roof are plugged they come out at the front right corner post outside just blow air back up through it and it’ll be good and drain properly again.

Hi Grant. If that tractor has a Gen 3 touch screen command center, it will run Autotrac, section control and rowsense. If it's a real early non touch, you can swap a touch one into it. You'll just need an unlock for autotrac. If you want one, I have a used unlock code for about 1/3 of a new one. Also have a used touch display. The unlocks are interchangeable with a 2630.
