Generally you want negative pressure inside a case. That screen is definitely adding in more heat than the designers planned for with their default fans/holes, so adding a new fan as an exhaust right by the screen makes perfect sense. Better than not having a fan, or having it point inwards.

I remember the exact shop that modified these… it was called play n trade and it was a place that modified and honestly competed with GameStop. It was amazing and I knew the owner of one of the stores at the time. The place would constantly try to fix peoples consoles and they would modify Xbox’s just like what you see in the video.

I also have never seen a good painted console. I once asked someone on Mercari what method and type of paint they used to paint their consoles... they told me it was secret... which means to me that it was unprimed on a dirty oily surface with water based acrylic paint that will scratch off just by looking at it... same as always it seems.

I didn't initially notice it but just noticed it now. It reminds me of when I bought an e-reader that had a misaligned display that looked fine at first but was crooked on close inspection. I had to live with that and later realised while repairing other e-readers that it was likely due a lack of markers on the inside to help align the EPD panel.

I like it its the first 360 that kinda pops with the lcd the leds only bad thing the temperature sensor is not conected to the motherboard. The rest this one is a 9 out of 10 only couse of the sensor.👌

@@JessicaFEREM Literally just bought one for myself for Christmas. $67. And that thing is a beast. The colors really surprised me for something so cheap. It's almost as good as my basic HDR10 TV lol. And a full booklet with instructions and guides and very few spelling errors. And several good quality cables that actually feel durable for power and A/V. I mounted it above my pillow so I could fall asleep watching youtube, or playing games for a little before that.

gold trial cards don't work anymore even if never scratched off or exposed and never used MS changed how gold works some months ago I work at a little gameshop in a flea market and we have a ton of unused trial cards from games all the way back to the Halo 2 days I haven't gotten any to work recently despite never been used

cool idea but poor execution/installation... the carbon fiber vinyl isn't cut perfectly around some of the vents, plus the screen is crooked, and the window isnt the color you requested that screen and the LEDs and other mods are probably pulling too much power from the disc drive connector for me to have confidence in lasting the test of time without burning the connector and/or something on the xbox motherboard. Jasper boards like that even have unpopulated pads on the board that are perfect to solder and pull 12v from, with less worry of going past a disc drive connectors power limits, and melting/breaking stuff on the board. 6/10 rating, only for the little fan that helps to keep the GPU cool (GPU heatsink is half the size of the CPU heatsink, so it needs more airflow)

I don’t mean to be rude, but that is pretty ignorant. Something can be portable without being handheld, they’re two completely different things. I’d recommend you look up the definition of “Portable” in a dictionary. Everything that is hand held is portable, but not everything that is portable is handheld if that makes sense. Considering it has a screen built into it, the only thing you would need is a power source. It is definitely considered portable.

i add little screens to my pc towers, they play diffrent graphics,like if im playing star wars, i cant have movie clips playing, and gta, i have the map on the little screen so its helpful sometimes, and looks kewl always, i put kewl screen savers and widgets on it, and use touchscreen, try it its awesome! i make theme towers, like strangers things, and i have a demegorgon playing in the tower screen...try it!

I would expect a nice case not a covered up wrapped version, I would also expect the builder to not pry the case off and leave holes, I would also expect a straight screen. See the thing is, this thing is really cool but let down by the actual care and attention to the actual build! They need to actually understand that the aesthetics matter! and the end product shipped to a customer is of the highest standard or get out the selling game and do it for a hobby for yourself only! Simples.
