I put the star suspension kit in mine. Night and day difference and I had them rebuild my shocks also I suck up Ski-Doos with my Nitro handles like an IndyCar on the trails good luck with it you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the video

thanks Ya right now if i have a nice flat trail i can keep up, once it is rough it is horrible. everyone seems to float down the trail and I seem to be bouncing all over the place. Gonna take some dialing in to get it to where i want it. Thanks for the tip.

I wish we had some powder lol :( not much snow this year so far. Need to travel 1hr to find snow for the trail system, 2-3 hrs north to get some deep snow. Thinking this year is going to be a short season if things do not change

My xtx corners so poor on Trails. Terrible ski lift dangerous. Does star rear suspension help.? Bought mountain tech A Arms and Skid Plate. Xcel wheels..Dupont Hyfax.. the greaser secondary clutch bearing greaser. Added zerk fittings. Quality of paint and finish seems very poor also. Trying to upgrade it but not sure worth it.

Go with the mountain tech a arms .good up grade. And the star suspension. And change your clutching.i went with Schmidt brother's racing. This sled starts up every time .I would never spend the money on a 2 stroke. O yeah this thing screws and handles awesome.

@@MrSprintcat I did all the bushings back in November and that really tightened things up. Check out the video I posted. Still haven't had a chance to ride it since we don't have enough snow.

Hey Thanks Wasn't intended to being as much of a project as it has become. Was only thinking I was gonna need to do a few things. And then a few things led to other things. 4k sled + taxes and change over. $100 to have buddy tig and fab up a couple quick plates. 1k for motor as the one in the sled spun a bearing.. + my time to install couple Days. $600 to have shocks rebuilt as the ones in it were declared rebuilt but don't believe they were as they were missing fluid. If they were done it was not done right or were not done at all. 300 for hand guards as I wanted to change things up. Ice scratchers $100 Exhaust repair $50 ish maybe with material + time. 150 to 200 in a couple oil changes. + Oil pressure switch. Around 6k Was hoping around 5k in total, but then the motor spun a bearing, that was a bit of a surprise as they are known to be reliable. + snowmobile Gear if we want to include that. I am hoping to just cover maintenance expenses now and will be good to go for a few years to come.. I feel I have it dialed in fairly decent Now. But ya never know what is going to happen tomorrow. Gonna need to put some new hand warmers or find a yamaheater to install as the warmers suck. Lol seems alot of people have problems with the warmers. Voltage or amperage going to the grips apparently never works correctly for most nytros. I was thinking of turboing or supercharging it but I think I will pass on this for now. Sled is still fairly quick for what I need. Thanks forn watching

Thanks for the info. I'm in the market for a used Nytro. If you had to do it all over again what would you have done differently or maybe you'd buy a different yamaha model 4 stroke? Thanks again!

@@clarkfos3447 I am not brand loyal I was looking for a arctic cat xf9000 or nytro. a local dealer called me about a xf9000 and told them i would be there at 5. One of the employees ended up buying it. not long after i found the nytro i have now. The nytro is fun. rough in the rough trails compared to some other sleds but is over all fun, fairly quick, decent on and off trail and has dirt bike like riding position. It's fun, i enjoy it. Id love a new turbo sled, but not in the budget yet. soon maybe :)

How many miles on it when it spun a baring? And do you know why it did that. Lack of oil?

I am assuming the previous owner ran it low on oil which might of started the scenario. The oil reservoir tabs were broken and bent and the plastics were scratched up on that side so i am thinking it was on its side at one time and starved of oil at one time. When I got it the sled the oil level and coolant level was fine along with chain case and was told the oil was recently changed. I got 700km into owning the sled when symptoms of code 30 started to arise. It was not low on oil when code 30 low oil pressure triggered and started shutting down the sled at idle. I just switched motor when i found the filings in the reservoir jug. Old motor is sitting on the work bench. Never took it apart yet. Lol Might take it apart one of these days to see what happened where. If I remember correctly it was around the 12,000km mark it started to happen

hows it going i got a 2012 nytro mine when im stopped engine light flashes and when i get going it goes out do you know what could cause this

Starter relay? No... I seen a couple other people have that problem but I never had a issue so far.
