Brandon Campbell Diamond why not just send it back? I know it's big but I just sent back a Swiss bar for $18. Maybe they'll ship that for $50. As far as the back goes, try static holds on the back extension. That helped enormously for me
@BasementBrandon

David Whitney Training & Nutrition tbh it would be a bigger pain to ship it back. It weighs 250lbs, the original boxes and styrofoam disintegrated so I’d have to buy more. It’s not worth the $100 less I’m selling it for. Plus my buddy who is local wants it so I’m happy to hook him up!

I received three Titan boxes in the mail today. The Safety Squat Bar was falling out of the box, but undamaged. The leg curl/extension box was ripped and the piece closest to the tear was covered in rust dust. The H-PND, only one of the two boxes showed up thus far, but it was the only one completed sealed. I don't know what's in the other box. The one that showed up seems heavy enough to have everything. The rack that I ordered from amazon, now 22 days ago, is still not here. It's been sitting on Long Island for 10 days. Maybe they want me to go pick it up. I don't know.

Yeah, that thing is huge for a home gym...I thought I remember seeing strength shop with some sort of compact version of it? I could be mistaken though... But more interestingly, why the hell can't Titan have an intact cardboard box for their shipments?...even little things I have bought from them look like the box came out of an active warzone..is their warehouse like that opening scene in Ace Ventura where he just beats the hell out of the delivery box? I always know my Titan equipment has arrived when I get to my porch and it looks like a dog has attacked the box

Brandon Campbell Diamond overall though probably makes more sense than a full unit like this. Wouldn’t you really just need to have enough space for the handles to clear the wall? Which still is a foot or two I suppose further than what your plates need.
@BasementBrandon
@BasementBrandon 6 жыл бұрын
dustinmcd91 i think both the pad and the handles extend out so I’d assume about 4 feet, which would make my rack just out way too much. I think those are best for racks that are open on both ends in a gym

I think it's one of those things where you need to have done it before in another gym, really liked it, and then created the home gym, then purchased it. It would probably be easier to buy the back extension rack. The footprint on those is like 24x24"

So I have to ask, what made you not want to try the Rogue attachment for the rack? Was the Titan one smaller? Base price is about the same, but you can at least store some stuff under the front of the in-rack setup.
@BasementBrandon
@BasementBrandon 6 жыл бұрын
With the rack attachable version the price delivered to me would be about $750, also it attaches to the back of my rack, so I'd have to account for the extra space of the pad and handles, which would put my rack about 3-4 feet further into the center of the room.

Good review and it’s true what you say IF you don’t have back problems. If you have bulging/herniated disc however, it’s definitely worth it (I have the rogue). Every time I use it it’s like an adjustment at the chiropractor so that alone gives me all the reason I need to have it. But if bought “to increase strength” or whatever other than therapy, yup, not worth it.

I have Titans sitting calve raise machine. It came intact, nothing damaged and was put together with ease. The only things I have found with this particular equipment was the Olympic plate bar extensions are junk and the weight lift is greater than what I was doing with a smith machine. So to conclude, I like the sitting calve raise but will pass up the economic hyper machine. Thank you.

Funny just saw this bought Rogue Westside Reverse Hyper Scout that folds up and out of the way this week love it so far and since out of the way rest of the time no big deal was only 275 so quite happy with it. I feel it has improved my back strength and I like how it stretches back. One arm rowing with it feels good too sort of like rowing with barbell in henny strap. I'm going to use it for a few weeks and then as warmup before heavier squats or deadlifts. I agree one that is super heavy and can NOT be moved or stored would SUCK.

I bought this exact piece of equipment. I use it 4 days a week. I love it. It is big and I have a pretty small space, but it is also versatile. I do the reverse hypers 3-4 time/week, but I also use it for hamstring curls, rows, and even for calf raises. The quality is pretty high considering the cost, though the welds are generally ugly and the grip tape is peeling on one side. But that said, I have not been disappointed with any purchase Ive made from Titan so far with maybe the exception of their multigrip camber bar. Thats just because it isn’t as versatile as the EliteFTS multigrip camber bar. But it is half the price and it does get used.

I enjoy your channel so my critique here isn't to troll. I've never used a reverse hyper but I'm intrigued by the concept. I think anyone who's dealt with significant back pain would argue that $400-600 and some occupied floor space would be negligible factors if it was in fact a miracle worker. You like a tidy gym, we get it. Lol. Keep up the good work.
@BasementBrandon

I think the issue is that it's a hit or miss piece in terms of effectiveness (no real science to support) so it's 50/50 if you'll like it or not. Unless you've had access to one and know for sure you'll use it I don't think it's a worthwhile gamble. At least now there are affordably hybrid RH/GHDs for not much more.
