So basically I needed seats for my personal cappuccino and I found some that came with a car.....Drift build coming soon..... OR should I chop it in half and trailer it with the red cappuccino !?

Use the beater as a parts car. Then whatever you don't use, part it out. Someone somewhere probably needs cappuccino parts. My guess is that by parting it out you will probably make more money than what you got it for.

GTFOOH WBTF! It seems a shame to part out any running Cappuccino. There's a good chance a complete dash swap wouldn't be that difficult on a kei car. It's easy on the Hijet. It's an all day job for a professional mechanic on my 4Runner (with a cracked dash). I'd swap the speedo cable too but try to keep the original odometer. There's a good chance that the induction hose on your Cappuccino ripped because it was bent down to use a different air filter, and if you swapped the other induction hose in the same application, it'd rip too. I'd 3D print a custom induction hose. I just 3D printed little mud flaps that I designed for my Hijet. They're black with bright yellow "MEEP!" along the bottom. They're so damned cute. 🙂 I'm starting to think I bought the Hijet to justify having 3D CAD and a 3D printer. Don't even think of towing anything with a kei car. They already can't accelerate their own mass fast enough that US drivers aren't on your rear bumper trying to intimidate you into going faster. If you had some storage space, you could part out the Cappuccino yourself - windows, windshield, headlights, hood.... You could triple your money if you were willing to wait to sell the parts... or use them on your THIRD Cappuccino. 😛 Body rust can be fixed. Frame rust is almost always a write off.

Interesting...buying a parts car that runs! Man, that blue Cap is a rust bucket but you did score some good stuff. I would seriously recommend you keeping that spare from the blue Cap even though you seem to have a complete aversion to spare tires and other sorts of needed gear for the road. You know, I think the blue Cap wheels are really sharp but too back they are missing their center caps - I like them better than those on the red Cap. Big job ahead and I see now a second video about even more rust on the blue Cap, so I gotta go watch it! Later, Gator!

My thing with spare tires is 99.9% of them are all beyond dry rotted seeing how they're over 25 years old not never used. So swapping it in incase of emergency maybe even worse if it blows up on the road. thats why I rather keep one of those foam tire fillers and space is so limited on these kei roadsters, I wouldtnt take a spare out of a kei van or normal car but every inch counts on the beat, capp and az1

I totally get it, I'm just thinking of how much time (or money) it takes to do that kind of rust repair. You aren't into it for a lot, so I'd get what you want out of it and move on. The idea of turning into a drift car sounds expensive, especially if the motor is leakier than you think and needs to be gone through. I just hate rust.

If the sills (rockers) are that bad then the floors and rear subframe mounting points will be badly corroded also. The car body is almost certainly way beyond economic repair. A Cappuccino in this condition in the UK would be stripped for spares and the body scrapped.

@@Waybeforethefame Have a look underneath the carpet where the rear bulkhead meets the floor and from underneath the car where the front of the rear subframe attaches to the body. Then you will have a better idea if the car is recoverable. Btw, enjoying your videos.

Nick, the new Cap' is a rust bucket, parts car and parting it out after you get what you want is the best idea. That's probably serious structural rust and it would be criminal to sell it to anyone who thought about putting it back on the road. I spent years restoring British sports cars, and often bought rusty beaters for parts. I agree with @csorgb05: you'll make more parting it out than trying to sell it as a viable car.
